NYSDEC says 'no cause for concern' after orange substance found at boat ramp outside Love Canal

The NYSDEC told 7 News it conducted a site visit on Thursday and determined that there is no cause for concern or further cleanup action.

Keep fooling yourself. Ever heard of nonpoint source pollution ? Between Love canal , the coke factory and the various other old & new manufacturers that were/are around the area, you're bound to have some kind of contamination. Why do you think the cancer rate in WNY in general (not just the falls) is so high ?... it's not just all the ppl who still smoke.

Love Canal is safe they covered all the land the chemicals can't get out because it's all buried so it's safe now.
