So the zerg is basically the Icon Of Sin? Because (i think) Samuel Hayden said this "The longer the Icon Of Sin is on earth, the stronger it will become." Really cool.
The way the game works: join game, 3 people leave, and you get 2 noobs and then you lose because everyone chose normal which is too hard for new players.
Ashened thats the problem, casual you just a move at 12 minutes with 5 marines and win, and then theres only easy left. Also, normal should be one thats possible with randoms since usually normal is the base difficulty so every new player picks normal, resulting in games being lost from the start.
As a bit of a zerg hex player myself I can conclude that this is absolutely nothing like zerg hex. The marines don't even use energy!!! on the other hand I have to admit that this one is quite fun 😀
As a bit of a Zerg Hex player myself I can easily prove you wrong. It is actually very, very similar to Zerg Hex, to the point of containing 50% of Zerg Hex in it. Why, you ask? Simply because it has Zerg, but no Hex. Therefore it's half of what Zerg Hex is! Get destroyed using facts and logic! /s

Coop, especially 8 players, become much trickier to handle. There's 8 pools instead of one, the map is way bigger, and if one person screws up, it cascades to kill everyone else. Almost impossible to beat unless everyone is doing well. Then there's the scares well placed resources with one or two entrances and people end up fighting for base. You have to be really lucky to get a good map that can accommodate everyone. By the way, the map you played was ridiculously lucky with only one path direction enemy came from. I've tried solo runs many times and I've never seen such good placement like this.
Can you make a video explaining what this is, how to play, why there are red and gray walls, etc. etc.? I've been playing SC2 since it released (was a huge fan of the story back during brrod war) and I never even saw these custom things. Because of you I discovered Direct strike and I LOVE it. I wanna learn more of these games, like zerg hex but you haven't *really* explained it so i'm not even gonna try it lol.
Just watched his stream from the other day, the blue walls are sturdy walls that protect you and force the zerg to move in specific directions. Red walls are very weak and can be destroyed very quickly. At some point, some of the blue walls will get downgraded to red, and then very late in the match, all the red walls will crumble.
This map is out for a while in EU and there is already a "pro scene" established, people running max diff games with 3-4 people. Never public lobbies due to randoms leaving on the map you had you could have walled off the entrance right next to the pool and put down a perdition turret + bunker and marines early on, completely securing the map directly at the start. No need to worry about infested because 1-2 marines can easily hold a depot in that direction too All these command centers are rather wasted resources, the only situations in which a new CC is worth it is when 1. you have to make 6+ scvs to efficiently mine or 2. build a secondary secluded base, which is rarely a good idea anyways.
They have a special trait damage towards walls, like how marauders do more damage to armored, also spawning poll is immortal till it spawns stuff so yea it ain't worth it
The most reliable way to win is to spam out marines and get ton of upgrades. Assuming you dont die to infestors you won. Also id sugest to wall of with bunker instead of depo (you have lot of time even if your rax is bit late). If you play solo you dont realy need bunker but on bigger maps with more players it better to play it safe. Also the RNG you had was realy good. Sometimes you just dont get any good base spots.
while using the bunker to wall is stronger and you can give it more hp it's nice to have a depot just in case you want to move ground mech units through
@@meatball9746 I dont realy like playing mech, as helions, sige tanks, and thors damage the walls. And with lot of players you cant be super agressive. so i just prefer to turtle and get ton of upgrades

That's because in EU, not everyone can communicate with each other due to language barrier. So, when most of the team communicates in English and a Russian guy writes "Сволочь Пиздец Хуй Мудак Жопа Ебать Сука Блять Гавно" it's hard to be angry at him because you have no idea what he's even saying because what even are those weird symbols like damn, are we playing with an alien or something? And you can all laugh at him together instead of getting mad. While in NA, there is no Russian guy to lighten up your day, there is only kids and teens who are more toxic than Putin's magic tea that makes your insides glow :(
LordDragox412 First off, vast majority of the Russians i’ve personally played with and talked to aren’t toxic, and second, language barriers just make things harder in general, but there’s still communication, friendly talking, which seems to be lacking in NA (as well as the fact that a lot of foreigners speak some degree of english which is definitely appreciated, even if it’s nothing more then ‘good luck’ or a specific unit or something little like that)
So the zerg is basically the Icon Of Sin? Because (i think) Samuel Hayden said this "The longer the Icon Of Sin is on earth, the stronger it will become." Really cool.
There was one marine in his main base that was close enough to shoot over the wall. That marine is a legend!
The way the game works: join game, 3 people leave, and you get 2 noobs and then you lose because everyone chose normal which is too hard for new players.
Only easy is made for random teams, anything beyond it requires either good teamwork with voice or a whole team of vets

Ashened yeah with me I’m a noob, so I get stuck on a difficulty I can’t do and end up either dying early on or camping in someone’s base
A friend and I play this a lot. We managed to beat normal difficulty recently with TD Prince and Mass Marines.

With how much damage the SCV’s did, at least to the walls, why not scv rush?
They have a special trait damage towards walls, like how marauders do more damage to armored, also spawning poll is immortal till it spawns stuff so yea it ain't worth it
Ah, ok
scv does 125 dmg to wall and wall only. Another reason is that pools are invincible for a certain amount of time in the beginning of each game.
Everyone else: I got seven adds
Me confused because I didn’t get anything
Definitely seems like another player can hold a grunge against another player. By breaking the walls troll

Best records are only for games of 6 players+
There is a board on top right showing the highest diff you've beat, and only game records with 6+ players will be recorded
