Errol said he would fight Jermell and they have the same trainer. Jermaine Ortiz called out Haney at one point, now Ortiz is on Team Haney. Canelo fought a guy he trained and sparred with etc. it happens all the time.

Either Antonio Tarver or Roy Jones Jr would make great trainers for Spence. They would both tighten up Spence's footwork and defense. Plus they would give him some better offensive options that would work off of Spence's jab.

I even still have issues with why he stopped working with Blue Ray. Robert Garcia would be good. Errol is similar to the Mexican style as that is who and where he started out with. Robert has trained many Champions and is a former Champion himself.
Errol Spence Jr. said he wasn't going to leave Derrick James when this rumor first circulated, however, it wouldn't be a bad Idea to go get some training from the G.O.A.T himself Floyd "The Matrix" Mayweather Jr. and Floyd "Hard To Hit" Mayweather Sr. I personally think Errol Spence Jr. needs to work on his COUNTERPUNCHING and footwork as far as angle placement along with using his footwork to control the fight of a harder hitting component
