I just started my window cleaning business a few weeks ago. I'm learning as I'm going. I heard you say something about a scratch prevention waiver. I'm not dumb. I get what it's about. Just want to know if you could tell me a little more about it.
Also, a little pat on my back story. I first started by cleaning my neighbors windows. 6 hours. Cause I started with cloths, dawn/water, and a ladder. So the whole setting up and moving the ladder thing took forever. Plus, I was doing it by elbow grease. Fast forward to a month or so. Watching UA-cam University, got me some poles, squeegees, etc.. That job now took me about an hour and a half. Still working on my time, but way better than the last time. WAY WAY BETTER! 👍🏽
Absolutely if you want email me and I’ll send you the one we use. Then you can construct your own from that one. 🤗 JoshuaTheWindowCleaner@gmail.com is my email 👍🏼 Fantastic story and I totally understand what you mean! Jobs I did when I started would take all day now I do them in a couple hours. Amazing what time and the right tools can do for efficiency! Good job man! Wish you the absolute best of luck for your new business!!!
Good job
Great job Joshua! Would love to know more about the scratch waiver. That’s a really great idea to have handy. You did a knock out job. Windows looked amazing from inside.
Thank you sir!! If you email secretary@pozitiveenterprises.net and request the scratch waiver my secretary can forward that to you as a template 🤗
Dude that noice it makes on the corners / sides.... Im terrified EACH time i do it ;) I wet it for every scraper pass with my mop. Mop - scrape - mop - scrape... I never scratched a window yet, with this method, but it takes time :P
Usually all I need it's Bronze pad and some blade..I never seen windows that dirty after construction 😱😱 all that paint on the frame hell no..good job dude
LOL! Thanks man! Easy money I see it like this all the time. :)
Do you do a video on cleaning frames
@@kevinhartley7423 I don’t but you can use a Sorbo sponge and goo gone will get most of everything off of frames except concrete.
Nice job... I notice paint on the frame on a c.c. are required to clean or remove the paint from the frame also?
No I told them I could only do the glass for the price quoted. I told them I would just be cleaning the dirt off of the frames. Thanks for your feedback bro!
I own a construction clean up business in California nice job man. What kind of window cleaner do you use on the windows?
I have used many different professional soaps but honestly a little dawn and water work just fine!
@@JoshuaTheWindowCleaner was just curious we use Dawn as well it works the best. Especially after all the stuff that gets on those windows during construction
How many windows were in this job? Did you had to do the same procedure on all of them?
Most of them were exactly like that but some of the glass was brand new glass. I can’t remember the exact number but I believe about 50 panes of glass about 40 of them were construction cleaned.
Those are carbon steel blades. Excellent, and very sharp, but rust very easily. Probably why they wrap them.
very true! Normally a 1 day use. I tossed the blade after this job. Thanks for your feedback bro!
So how many times do you go through it ?
I do not understand your question could you explain more in detail?
Till the sun hits it and you see the scratches.
No scratches here 🤷🏻♂️ They are a regular client of mine now. When the sun hits it no issues. They look great! Maybe you are doing it wrong? They also sign a scratch waiver 👍🏼
$585.00 for that store front ? How many panels? I don’t see that much in there.
@@JoshuaTheWindowCleaner I didn’t count the panels. How much are you charging per panel for post construction cleaning?
Did you learn this from Luke the window cleaner, lol..👀
Some but mostly just cleaning windows I have learned more than anything. 👍🏼 Thanks for your feedback man!
That's some sloppy painting all over the glass and frames; Good video by the way :-)
Good video mate. The most important thing you didn't mention that is a must ALWAYS check the glass manufacturer stamp to check for glass type before using a blade, because if you use a blade on tempered or toughened glass you're going to cause a lot of scratches.
