This audio is from a Time performance at First Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The concert took place on October 4th, 1983 and was the last Time show until the 1987 reunion. Jimmy and Terry were fired by this time and Monte had quit the band. Audio from this show was used in Purple Rain. I do not own this video nor the rights to it. I believe this is the one and only live performance of the version of The Time that appeared in the movie. There have been many versions of The Time and Morris Day and the The Time through out the years. All funky all F&#$#
