Really enjoying this format. Thanks a million!
Thanks Baron. Your play along lessons have helped tremendously for my guitar playing over the last few years. Not a big bluegrass scene where I am here in New Zealand, so to play along with someone of your skill level has been an invaluable resource. Do you take requests? Would you consider doing a play along to 'It's Raining here this morning'?
Love this video! Last year my father-in-law gave me an old mandolin. I learned a bit to play it but your channel is the real boost for me. This week I bought myself shiny new electroacoustic mandolin. Thank you so much! See you at Patreon :-)
Been waiting for this one! Thanks Baron.
Just discovered your channel - love it! I've been looking to pick up mandolin again and this is perfect. I've already learned so much - thank you :)
It might be too different a style but could you do a video on "Moon River" (in the style Audrey Hepburn's guitar cover in Breakfast at Tiffany's)? I've been looking everywhere for a mandolin cover but couldn't get it right.
That was fun!
I was pretending I could play -- chords-- keys.. hahaha.
I have only had it three days, now, and never played anything. But, I think I am understanding two things;
pick on the downbeat, and..., lighten up on the fingers after a strum.
I hope my picks come in, today, because i have only been trying barehanded.
Makes me wish the parents had put me in any music lessons.. I got ballet knitting, visual arts, and gymnastics. I may do better on mandolin with my toes!
Are you in Austin? I am. Great day, out on the porch, at OFF-Southby, Central Market North, 40th, Lamar., I will be there.. shooting, not playing (thankfully.)
Do you know a kid's mando spot I could go to for help on finger placement, etc..?
Can you do a tutorial on the 'Beatles - Here Comes The Sun'? I really want to learn the song but I can't do it on my own. Please!
