the creatures are called Ned's, they kinda represents creativity.
The Bishops (guys in red hoods) are inside the city of Dema. Tyler and Josh are shipwrecked on an island far away from Dema but Ned's antlers lets him 'seize' or control the body of the dead bishop back in the city. At the end of this video i think tyler and josh sail across from the island back towards the city to team up with the Banditos (wearing yellow tape and carrying torches-rebels who have escaped Dema) to confront the Bishops. Tyler takes the antlers with him so he can 'seize' bodies inside Dema.
I would really love to see their reactions and gusses about them first then seeing Clancy

NED is the creature of mystical powers given to Tyler aka CLANCY. I don't think Ned has been explained or interpret as anything. I would like to think they represent his kids or children and they're power of innocence and imagination and they keep giving him that power to overcome the bishops and DEMA
