The late Susan Luckey and Jacques D'Amboise danced a marvelous routine to a ravishingly beautiful orchestral arrangement of "If I Loved You".
Indeed! In the full scene, Jacques seems to hang in space, defying gravity, while Susan is a naive outsider seeking an older male to admire. The choreography is breathtaking, the storytelling clear, whilst the orchestral arrangement at times soars towards the celestial.
absolute heaven. one of the lovliest piece of romantic choreography. He was a real character and strong dancer.
The world has lost another “Brother” with the passing of Mr. d’Amboise. He really did make me feel like dancing. 💕
And now we know that from 1:09 was the move which gave Christopher Dean the idea for the opening of Bolero
Those beautiful, beautiful lifts!
RIP Jacques.
I'd have cut this after he ruffles here hair. Makes it even more gutting. Gods, they were both so young.
ps carnt believe it has so few views.
Rest in Peace Mr Jacques D'Amboise. You were truly a magnificent dancer.
