Your honesty is refreshing. I hope it gets you the repeat business from homeowners who benefited from your local knowledge. I bet a lot of new homeowners get serious remorse when they see some of the same mainland problems that they wanted to escape.
Love your guys' videos. But brah this one... wit' da pilipino lip pointing.... bus' laff!!!! 😂 Love how you keep it real. Definitely the realtors I recommend. A hui hou...
Those pop up area labels are very helpful. Thank you too for your frank education on island life. You give great tours. I really feel confident you and all your team are trustworthy, hardworking professionals. There are a lot of great uTubers here who offer their services. Everyone has a different style and expertise. I personally think you and your real estate ohana offer a lot of great advantages to any client lucky enough to find you all. I mean that sincerely. I was an agent in L.A. many decades ago and if I have a chance to refer folks to you I sure will. I appreciate your comprehensive attitudes of excellent customer service for your clientele. Best always.
Thanks for your thoughtful comments across so many of our videos. We try to be as real as a UA-cam real estate agent can be. It helps that we are a team representing many faces of Hawaii. We of course welcome your referrals and appreciate your support!
Castle and cooke build nicer, higher quality tract homes compared to Gentry in Ewa. I'm glad you touched on who the builder was. Do you have any insights on Kunia 2?
Wow. 😃 Had no idea that Kunia looks like that these days! 🏡 Far cry from the 60s and 70s! My cousin lived there (maybe still does?) in what seemed to be a little village. 😬 Will have to take a drive up there on my visit over the holidays. 🎄 Keep doing what you do. 👏🏼🏡 Naysayers? 👎🏼🤣
OK I just watch the full video he's talking about all of that dryland around the subdivision as a fire hazard and the builder was supposed to build in that area and he stopped and one part was supposed to be a golf course
There's LOTS of neighborhoods to avoid: Waipahu, Pearl City, WAIANAE, Kalihi - high crime, bad neighbors, druggies, homeless, domestic violence, illegal activities, car thefts....
You can't run away from the criminals because the island is so small. Das why I moved to Central Texas. For some reason the Pacific Islanders commits a lot of crimes like the Blacks on the mainland. It must be poverty because they got no jobs and no skills.
Confused commenters, he's saying the developers never built the golf course but sold houses saying there would be a golf course there, instead now its just the undeveloped land sitting there lowering the resale value of the homes. Watch his full vid for more info
We finally decided to live in royal kunia, just moved in yesterday and sure enough there were fireworks last night. Couldn't see but could hear! So far loving it.
Derrick just single handedly brought down the property value of those houses sitting along fire prone dry grasslands, homeless fairgrounds, muggers' boulevard and raggedy street racers. Watch your back brother!
Same thing here in California with the Subdivions. Then again, how many 80's songs spoke to that, lol. My daughter lives in Kula. Mahalo & Aloha! 🌺🤙🤙🤙💖
I think Kunia has a lot of advantages for families or individuals because the makua location is so convenient. I personally like it much better than Mililani. What are the schools in Waipahu/ Kunia like compared to Kapolei and Ewa?
I’m planning on moving to Oahu next year. I have 3rd & 4th grade boys. I’m not in a place to buy right now but will be in the future. I’m thinking about Ewa Beach but I worry about my boys fitting in at school. What area would you recommend for inclusive schools?
I hate to say it, but Hawaii is home of reverse racism. It' just the way it is. All my friends kids (white) have been picked on at school and this is all over the islands. I also have friends that are teachers and they also say it happens. Its Honestly just part of living in Hawaii. Also don't know if you're aware but Hawaii public schools are rated very poorly. That's why some of my friend's kids go to private school or are home school now.

When I buy a house in the next couple years in Honolulu I’m 100% using this guy, his videos are so helpful

I live on the street above Palai and all the things that you mentioned at the end of the video are absolutely true 😂
I live Royal Kunia for the last year as a retired veteran, fireworks every week!🤣🤙🏼
Not the best place for vets with PTSD

You make it real ❤.
Tripler. No offense intended, you see an added or misplaced letter on new-casts all the time.
Luv your presentations!
Try look over there 😂😂😂

Makakilo is cherry but harsh on the breaks with that steep climb
There's significant reasons why our kūpuna gave areas place names.
Have you ever researched the English translation of "Kunia???" MmmHmm!!!

LOL. Avoid any neighborhoods with LIBERALS. That’s 87% of Hawaii. ; )
Derrick, You are akamai because you get military angle plus local knowledge. This channel going blow up, just wait and see....
Great relatable island videos! Love watching your content. Fun fact, my parents bought the house that Snowden lived in. 😮
Oh they lived near my in laws then 🤦♂️
Filipino lip pointing lolol.
Caribbean too 😂

Haha we were right then! Did you guys decide to buy or rent? Let us know if we can ever help 🤙🏽
We ended up renting for now. Watching your videos helped us find the truth about the neighborhoods, both good and bad. So thank you!
@@kuteangell hit us up when you want to plan for buying in the future. We can plan now for later ♥️🤙🏽
Kunia. Easy access to H-1.
Should be Frank D instead

Which island and areas would be the most dog friendly ? Large dog
Any and all. Just have to find the right community. If I had to blanket statement choose an island in prob saying Kauai or big island

Oahu area or other islands? We finally saw Oahu and really liked all aspects.

Grew up in Pearl City in the 1970's Have not been back since. It is very sad to see all the development in this area.

just curious what u mean by fitting in and inclusive schools? no disrespect just curious mahalo 🤙🏽
@@malunguymark I don’t want them to have a hard time or get made fun of because we are coming from the mainland. Does that make sense?

The school is probably full of violent military people.
