Gabrielle being obsessed with xena would have been the best! But how it turned out to be this episode was also great. I loved the 'rejected' scene with Xena xD Xena was like :') --> D'8 and I was like 'awww that's just mean!' but at the same time, laughed my head off xD lol Lucys comment 'The first time we see Gabrielle in thirdy shades of minx' x'D

Lucy was actually practicing the art of catching fish! It's called "Noodling". Saw it on a documentary about catching catfish in the South.

We'll never know how the other version would have been, but Gabrielle being obsessed with herself was hilarious to me. Always loved this episode

i dont think he was saying they denied it because she was supposed to be obsessed with xena. he was saying that she was supposed to be obsessed with sexual positions. thats what they said no to
Man, I really wish I still knew. It's been so long since I saw it and I think it wasn't even on UA-cam DX But they were saying that once they started realizing that a large part of their audience were LGBT, they wanted to pull this off, but the studio wouldn't allow it. In the end, Rob and Lucy said that it was still just a secondary thought and that Xena actually really isn't about that whole question of "Were they or weren't they?", which I totally agree with, but it still would've been nice.

Well originally, X/G was supposed to be the official pairing of the show as far as I know. I remember an interview with a big part of the crew and I don't know anymore if it was Rob or Lucy, but one of them said it was meant to be the official pairing of the show, with truly meant love confessions, everyday life as a couple etc. However, the studios didn't want to accept it and thus doomed Xena and Gabrielle to be best friends instead of lovers. I wish I still knew where I saw this interview >_

I think that was the time we had drinks out there after wrap. And I... not being very used to drinking alcohol, had this smashing hangover the next day. And in between scenes I had to sleep it off...
I can only imagine what may have happened when they went "swimming" if they were both........drunk.....🤔🤔
