Look, another stewardess, named Terry, who is played by Arlene Golonka. She was also the first wife of Jerry Bauman. He was Donald's best friend, and worked with him at Newsview Magazine. Jerry's first wife was named Margie, and was only in the episode where she marries Jerry in the middle of a snowstorm. She was never seen or heard from again. Maybe she disappeared in a snowdrift. Jerry was later shown as being married to a woman named Ruthie. Just to complicate things, Ruthie was played by two different actresses. One blonde, and one redhead. Neither of them was Arlene Golonka. Whew!!!
I really hope sooner or later there will be an episode where Mr. Marie is taken to jail for his exaggerations! He is really unpleasant and today he would be considered intrusive and offensive.
Donald was cute. He was briefly on Gomer Pyle, USMC, a friend of Gomer's. Anne's dad was a pain in the ass. Donald was pure gentleman. A woman could have lain naked by him and he'd not use her. I don't know why her dad didn't like Donald.
Mr. Marie in almost every episode was so grouchy, annoying and trying to boss Ann around. It got stale and the writers should have curtailed it ! Mrs. Marie, however, was a sweet heart and gave her daughter more responsibility and acceptance! The show was very good despite Lew!
There is a big difference between controlling your daughter and not respecting her or her circle of friends, or being a father who supports your daughter, being interested in her work and respecting her as a human being!
She was around 30 years old in 1967 in this season. Don't know what age she was portraying but just when she and her boyfriend are planning on doing something alone and together, in walks the conservative overbearing father to chaperone their plans. How corny.
Once again, here at the end, and he just did what he was told, Don wears this hideous sports jacket that is one shade of brown on one side and another shade of brown on the other.
If you mean the stewardess, that’s Arlene Golsnka. She did not play Jerry’s wife. She was on the Andy Griffith Show, the Mary Tyler Moore show and another episode of this show, but not as Jerry’s wife.
Lew Parker plays always the same stereotype character here. For me it is a boring running joke that suddenly the father captured the scene. It is one of the most unfriendly TV characters ever. By the way the actor got a good work in the last period of his life.
After working at the airport for nearly 30 years, (starting before Desert Storm). This is why I appreciate TSA, and screening. These things don't happen anymore. But, check out the leg room on those seats! 💺
Lew Parker steals every scene he appears in. Perfect casting.
@Discovegasguy no he is annoying and disgusting.
I think he wants to go a lot farther than Miami---Well, Then you just slap his face. Oh my!!! Love seeing Arlene Golonka again.
Lew being Lew!
I love Lou though 😂

I wonder if getting a run on Mayberry RFD interfered with the occasional appearances on That Girl. I love Arlene, she had a long TV career.
Mr Marie, don't you ever stay home and don't you have something better to do them barge into your daughter's home anytime you want???
It's a late 1960's early 1970's thing to do. lol
Mr. Gracie created the problem by not identifying itself from the start. Also, the pilot did not ask Mr. Gracie to identify itself.
He's what you call an air Marshal now and they are not required to identify themselves in order to keep a low profile

"Don't you ever go home?? Don't you know anybody else??" Hahahahahaha!!
How can it be Ann's fault if she correctly reported a man with a gun and the crew didn't know he was supposed to be there?
That part where Ann as a stewardess is trying to MAKE the guy take his coat off... !

I dated a girl that had a father , that acted like Lou Marie .
@@josephforest7605 He'd make a father-in-law from hell.
Ann's mother explained it to her in one episode, when Ann and Donald visited her parents in Brewster, N.Y.
Ann thought she saw a gremlin on the wing of the airplane. Oh wait, that was William Shatner.
He was a good father!
I thought his attitude was rather pervy
@@doreenkrodel6392 no way!! That's a strange remark!! Whoa

They didn’t have Mrs Marie on often enough.
Yes, his character arc was very shallow
Her dad's over-protectiveness is just so overbearing at times..
Se cuamatizo con Donald jajajaj
Everyone is nosy and hysterical. A holstered gun could mean any kind of lawman, or CIA. Ann causes alot of trouble, too, and Lew needs to shut up.
Her father so gets on my nerves!!!!!
Crooks usually do not carry holsters .
The stewardess was Chuckles the clows daughter and Ted Baxters gf for a short time. On MTM.

Its called having values, something the world needs back!
@@ericb1548Let's not exaggerate. A couple composed of 2 30 year old people, wanting to have intimate moments is nothing out of the ordinary.
@@ericb1548 I agree with you, Eric. Our world lacks morals and it’s no wonder our world is full of corruption and evil.

her father was Joan Crawford's agent on The Lucy Show.

Ann and Donald weren't hippies.
Today when this happens, there’s a lawsuit that follows😳🫣😂😂😂
