  • The future of basketball is in good hands, thanks to Shoot 360.
    The innovative, state-of-the-art basketball facility, headquartered in Portland Oregon, connects the science and art of basketball for a truly amazing experience to any hooper looking to upgrade their game. Players, such as Damian Lillard, Stephen Curry and Chris Bosh, have all worked out at Shoot 360 - and raved about it - in some form or fashion, but the brand is encouraging everyone to test it out at least once.
    We recently helped usher in the up-and-coming basketball brand to its latest location of Los Angeles with some effective video storytelling. Take a look.

      It should be less expensive than hiring a personal trainer. A lot of the teaching is automated so that means you don't have to pay for one on one guidance. It's actually a great idea as basketball is the kind of sport that this can work for

    • @JSalonsky
      @JSalonsky 7 років тому +5

      its so much its crazy, they make you pay for a package of minutes per month which goes by like lightning beause I dont know who regulates themselves to exatly an hour of shooting sometimes I like to go 3 hours, so it just doesn't make sense.

  • @otorbaev

    There shouldn't be such a limit to what degree your shot should be. Curry has like a 50° shot, some players have much lower, but you shouldn't need to adjust every time, just practice having the same form

    • @josephbroughton1690
      @josephbroughton1690 7 років тому +11

      Djantai Otorbaev there is an ideal shot but the main idea is consistency well said

    • @miedhushansathialingham8151
      @miedhushansathialingham8151 7 років тому +1

      i do agree with the fact that everyone is different. However because i am a fairly short (5'9") shooting at a higher angle makes my shot less likely to be blocked since it gives me that arc. If you are really tall and you less prone to being blocked, i would recommend 45° since it gives you maximum range.

    Although this is a neat facility, I don't believe that it is necessary to use all these fancy computers to improve as a basketball player.
    A determined player and a smart coach is all that is needed!

    Shooting angle is greatly affected by the height of a person's release. Tim Duncan is going to need a much more reduced angle of elevation than a 3 foot tall child would.

    Where is the analytics for player improvement and data science to track the effectiveness of their own systems of training? Seems like a nice workout facility with iPad-enabled video tutorials. The shot degree calculation was the only thing they showed actually being tracked.

    It's very cool, but sometimes things like this focus too much on micromanagement and miss the big picture. I mean it's all good to optimize the small aspects of practicing but if practice becomes so methodical and monotonous that it's no longer fun, it could demotivate a player. Of course, I'm just some dude commenting on the internet so maybe these guys have thought about this.
