Whats funny to me is all the people in the comments asking about what equipment they used when they just explained all of that in the video. Like did you even watch it?
Love the content you post bro its really helpful and inspiring work! I have a question though.... can you make a video of how to properly use a haze machine in order to give more life to lights but without it compromising the look on stage and making it look like there is a cloud on stage??? PLEASE! I have been struggling at my church to do this correctly. Is it the gear one uses, the placement on stage, technique in using it, stage design, direction of haze? My church is a medium sized church that fits 1,200 with a high ceiling Is that the problem?
Hey! Love this walk through. Thank you! Would you happen to know the size of the auditorium? Like how many seats? And also the dimensions of their stage?
Lightdesk is MA Lighting GrandMA2 onPC with a CommandWing and an Elation Node 4 (ArtNet to DMX) for DMX out on stage. Soundboard is Waves LV1 with 2 SoundStudio STG-2412 and 1 STG-1608 stageboxes.
Hi We have a two projectors screen in our church, but we cant blend the image. What projector use in this church and what system use to blend the projection in a seamless image? Thanks for your help. From Puerto Rico
You need the Edge Blending Module for ProPresenter. And, to be using ProPresenter, first, of course. If you're using some of the other software brands, they probably have a module for this as well. renewedvision.com/store.php?item=edge
May be it's just me, but I have a problem with the idea of satellite church, what's wrong with training others to do the job at that location, please enlighten me on this.
I totally understand what you mean. At Venue Church there is a full band including worship leaders and production at both locations. Each campus also has a dedicated campus pastor and other leaders to do giving talks, announcements and altar/prayer needs and more. If fact all jobs are manned locally. The Lead pastor however, is only at one campus. Their Worship Pastor manages two complete teams with multiple people for each position. Hope that helps.
It’s called “edge blending” basically setting each projector to have a gradient to black edge and merging them together. Most projection softwares like pro presenter 7 does this “automatically”You need to select “edge blend” and then map each projector to a particular part of the overall desired screen size. Here’s a video I found that perfectly explains it on ProP7. Hope it helps. ua-cam.com/video/OhA-2-ygI5Y/v-deo.html&feature=shares
love it. Thanks guys! I do have a question about the LED tape. If you have a 10 ft. roll and it doesn't cover the surface area that you need, can you connect more LED tape to that (let's say for example's sake, like 2 ft more)? If you cut 2 ft off another roll, would it still function with the 10 ft roll if you have it connect to each other and then through a decoder? I hope my question makes sense
Makes total sense. Yes this does work as long as you cut on the cut lines of the tape and use a connector. However, if I were in your shoes I would design the set to where I didn’t have to connect them together. It’s a pain! The strips come in 16’ rolls so I’m thinking of designs using 16’ of tape or less per “fixture.” My latest fixtures are about 20’ so I ran 10’ on each side and wired them to two separate dmx decoders to have more creative options when creating cues/looks/shows. You can use the same decoder for two strips if you want too. Have fun with this and thanks for watching.
Yeah, you can't do anything like what they're doing in this video, for less than $10,000 per projector. Probably upwards of $12K ....to $18K. We just spent $18K for a Sony Laser, that finally solved the dim project issues that we had for years on our 11-14ft diagonal screen.
I know it's a huge pill to swallow. But, you have to level-set leaderships (lead pastor, or other decision makers), and then make plans to buy the right piece of equipment. You can certain get a $2000 (or more like $3K-$8K (the latter being laser), and get some results, especially down at the $3K end, but, not in a 400+ worship venue.
Digital Projection brand, they mentioned, in the video. Of course specs would depend on your own venue size, and how much light you keep on your audience.
Its a module you can buy through Pro Presenter called Master Control under preferences. Then you connect the two computers by a code under the network tab. I'm gonna do a video on it soon. Thanks for watching!
*OLD TECH - I have been using a set up like this for years and with better sound quality and more flexibility then ANY MIXING system on the market including this one in this VIDEO! The system I have been using is a [[[ 24 Full Console Replacement ]]] with audio quality that can only be reviled with an entire ANALOG SYSTEM; utilizing ALL the same plugins in have in my recognizing Facility* ...that is my entire Eventide Suite, PSP, Valhalla, Lindell, Brainwork, Sonnox, ETC and i could even use WAVES Suites ( however I do not care for the sound of them ) included and no pops, crashes, slips or otherwise + record the entire show ON THE SAME PC intravenously fed! #UnLOCKyoURfOOL®
It’s messed up that people are more concerned about the technological side of this church rather than the spiritual word of God side, smh. This is why I’d never attend this “church”.
I don’t believe that is the point of the video! It is called a “behind the scenes” because this is all going around the whole worship experience, it’s not the main part! I understand there are people who don’t like a more “modern” type of worship (that’s totally okay!) but it has an emphasis on design and the experience of the audience. My church is really traditional with the bare minimum for sound tech and lights but my boyfriend works for different church that has a desire to be more modern and seeing the thought process is really intriguing. It’s definitely your opinion to have but I believe this new era of worship is aiming towards the new generation. It’s not going to be austere and cold anymore, it’ll have colors and ambiance 😊
AWESOMELY TRANSFIXED ALL THROUGH! You gotta do more of this Behind Church Scene tours...Love it!
socrayhte We definitely will, thanks so much for watching.
Love the look of this church. Watching your videos for Puerto Rico. God bless you bro.
Great tour! Thank you for sharing your behind the scenes!
Awesome!!!! Thx for adding the links to the gear!!!!! SUPER HELPFUL!
Joshua West you’re very welcome. Thanks for watching!
Thanks bro!!!
as a sound engineer no way could i stand using a touch screen to run a sound board.
Diesel Boy honestly LV1 is a lot more capable than you think. Digico teamed up with Waves to make this
As a sound guy I would be reluctant as well but would love to try it out
@@John-dd9xy I think the problem isn't the capability of the system, but more it's lack of tactile feedback
So many room for margin of errors
Also they sound terrible.
great job guys beautiful stage ideas thank you for sharing
Thanks for Sharing... really great stuff! Just wondering what projector do you use? Thanks!
Greatest Showman on the screen. Wondering if it has some gospel music
Awesome setup. But why wasn’t their a talkback mic for the FOH mixer? 😂

another good idea would be a video on clothing
Josh Aguirre big time thank you!!!!
Sounds like you need to add a few box fans.
Haze ideally falls down from a hung truss / balcony / etc. You will get a much more even spread that way.

What software programs do you use to control ligts, audio...?

Do you guys have any used lights that you're not using anymore for donations?
Awesome episode! I would love to see a campus tour video as well? :)
Timboheze he did one a few months back. Look for it! Super good as well.
I have yet to hear a mix through a Waves console that sounded good.
Can't forget the auto-tune...
So does the touch screens just connect into the sound grid or do you have a computer in the mix?

At the time I believe they were using the GrandMA2 onPC.

what type a board was used for the screen and where can we purchase it. Thanks
I honestly think they just used plywood and projector paint. Thanks for watching
Whats the projector called? looking to buy a projector for my church, what's a good option? something below $2000 US

What do you use to get point to point cues??
How do you project the same thing seamlessly simultaneously across all screens?
They have the two Mac's (with ProPresenter) link over ethernet. There is a ProPresenter Module that you can buy that does this.
What projector are they using ?
Digital Projection brand, they mentioned, in the video. Of course specs would depend on your own venue size, and how much light you keep on your audience.
How did they sync propresenter like that?! How too vid? Please!

No mention of the Lord Jesus just we and me
The partition at the console is so high looks like you can barley see over it.
I wonder where all the stuff has gone since the church has closed all campuses. Hope it was donated to others.
Seems like it would be an easy fix for ProPresenter to allow multiple main screens without needing multiple computers.
