Everything, yeah some things were broken and unbalanced but the OW team listened and actually made it fun at that time. I also can’t get over the fact that I almost unlocked every skin, but I see the ones I already unlocked in the store being sold like $10 plus. Back then we could earn loot boxes by playing the game and also could buy them in packs too and they weren’t really expensive too. But people looked at loot boxes like they battle passes sooooo idk I guess society changes. I still can’t get over seeing skins you could of unlocked simply playing the game but now they’re selling it individually or in bundles with name cards. That card system too omg I feel like that made people want to try to have their efforts be put on their and the team would vote and idk sometimes it’s wholesome. Everyone’s different I guess and has their way of enjoyment for gaming. I just think this is all sad and how Jeff left too, I really want to know how it went down with Jeff behind the curtains.
the old symmetra was super underwhelming and considered a troll pick. the main gun's range was too short for her to engage without risking too much, and the ramping-up dps wasn't worth it, especially considering she was a support without any movement or CC abilities. her E was utter crap, 25 hp could only save a 200 hp hero in very specific circumstances. and the teleporter wasn't that strong and reliable of an ability, having only 6 charges. the 6 turrets are kinda funny. those had potential for intel, but in a game like overwatch flanking solo isn't very useful or feasible
The elevators also were not activated by players, and just went up and down on a cycle. If you missed getting on one, you would have to wait 15 seconds or so for it to come back down, even if no one was on it
watching this makes me kinda sad but so happy i watched my friends play like this years ago , i lived thru this era, now its gone just like my youth but wow
This is the Overwatch I remember. 6v6, slower paced, able to be enjoyed. Symmetra was my favorite hero, and I enjoyed playing both 1.0 and 2.0 versions. I loved giving my allies shields with 1.0, and I loved the increased range with 2.0. I still don’t know why Blizzard thinks Overwatch 2 is an improvement.
i dont think there has ever been a hero worse than support symmetra. kinda funny how future heroes just did what she was supposed to do as a support better. makes you think why they even tried going towards support first... i think they just want to have 3 supports at launch, considering zenyatta was horrible too back in the day.
I miss how smooth sym used to be. Like she is still smooth as hell but the way she placed that teleporter and those turrets. Smooth and satisfying. Also the shield placing was satisfying and HER VOICELINES. she always talked so monotone and calm, now its more energetic and uppidy. Idk

The real Overwatch. It looked, played and felt so much better than 2.
This showed up my recommendation. This bring back memories. It's too bad sym feel awful to play now.
