SATISFYING Plastic Cladding UPVC Window Clean GREEN ALGAE

I'm sure the plastic cladding on this dormer had never been cleaned! A good old bit of elbow grease quickly dealt with the green algae.

Did the same to my conservatory a few weeks ago. Didn't have a "proper" chemical myself so just used some Bilt hamber Surfex HD (apc).
As I have a garden and 2 cats didn't really want to use any toxic chemicals because of that as well.

Is the house near water - lake, streams, river? Just wondering why so much green on cladding.
