I think this is a good place to bring up the fact that I hear specifically Super Mario Galaxy music (the first one in particular) absolutely everywhere on UA-cam. I’d say maybe it’s calmed down recently but especially from 2015-2020 everyone I watched on UA-cam used a galaxy song as a background track.
For UA-cam prioritizing short form videos recently, this latest mobile update that just shows the thumbnail for the first second or so of the video sure does dumb down if not ruin a lot of that content.
