I've painted my roll cages oranges bodygreen and white
Change it to dayglow orange body with black frame with dayglow yellow lettering be hottest car at the track
Steel it spray bomb that way you can weld throughly it without issues. No grinding needed.

Use some pre cleaner it'll take the oil and dirt and grime off it before you paint. We used it when we painted cars at a body shop. It'll even take the duct tape residue off. We had people that duct taped their windows up when their motor went out
