This horse riding school looks amazing! When I first started to learn horse riding in Russia at the age of 10, we didn't wear helmets, there wasn't any indoor arena even in winter and we had to tack up the horses ourselves. There was just one instructor who couldn't pay much attention to each rider as there were probably more than 10 of us. Lots of horses acted up and I was scared and stopped riding for many years :) The advantage of that horse riding school was that it was totally free, you didn't pay anything

my bestfriend, Mathilde rode a horse called sweetheart, she fell off and got a bad injury. (she got thrown off and broke her albue by sweetheart) a few months later (when i had been ridden for 12 years) i of course got up on that horse that had just made my bff break her albue. i remember i was really scared. she was a really great horse, i really enjoyed riding her, she was also the first horse who made me not go to my lesson for 2 weeks (not because i was scared, but i just fell into a wall bc of her and i remember my back really hurting)

I started riding when I was like, six or seven. I took lessons at this barn where I used to just walk around the area of the barn. I remember my first time trotting😂. Then I moved barns when I was around eight so that I could get some real riding lessons. At my new barn, they basically told me I had to ride western, so that’s what I did. For a few years, I rode their. But I didnt really learn anything. They didn’t tell me what a sitting trot was, they didn’t tell me about a lead, I just basically got on the horse and rode around. I did learn how to canter, but not correctly.
And that’s when I moved barns and got where I am now. I moved to my friends barn, because I thought that I could actually learn something there. When I got there, I was so confused because nobody told me what anything was, I didn’t know how to tack up, or anything. I took lessons for about a year there and now I’m doing great!! I do jumping on a pony named cupcake. She’s not my own, but I’m thinking about leasing her. I’m so excited and I can’t wait for my show. I have advanced so much since I came to my current barn, and I am now actually really good!!!

After all this stuff Is done I will finally be able to and I will be able to compete. And when I get to the stable and even jump for the first time I will probably cry because it is going to be so emotional. I have kinda taught myself a posting trot on my own. I just can’t wait.

Man I wish there was a stable near me like that. All the arenas are so beautiful, and there's so many of them! I only get to ride once a week at a little rickety barn (don't get me wrong, I would happily LIVE there), but I can only go once a week because it's so expensive. The whole entire week, I'm counting down the days until I can ride at the end of the week.
