Thanks to a game called Stray (about a cat in a kind of cyberpunk world) having found the sheet music for Petite valse in the game lead me to a search to hear it..... my search lead me to your video. Great tune and excellent performance by you.
Saludos
I love it! Very elegant. I'm wondering -- where did you find the music for this? I learned this from my aunts in Peru, and I'd love to play it with others, but I'm having a hard time finding sheet music to share. Any ideas? many thanks!
Many (or rather most) of her french songs stem from the book "Musette Melodien" by german Holzschuh-Verlag. It should be internationally available I think. :-)
Hello! Practise a lot. Choose hard repertoire that pushes you. Watch videos of professional accordionists. I am not an expert and my technique is far from perfect as I am self-taught. Thank you very much for your compliment. Best of luck to you!
@@accordionlucy Yes I practise everyday for 1-2 hours and love it. I have a very good teacher.how long have you been playing ? I am pushing myself currently playing domino but a different version than yours. You have inspired so me much thank you and keep uploading.
Hi Lucy do you what the song is in this link at around 5 mins ua-cam.com/video/Tdci_bhjeMI/v-deo.html. Also where did you get your score of domino as I want to learn your version. Thanks for the heart x
Lucy,... I have a question/request,.. can you show where on your left hand the strap to pull the bellows in and out is placed/ covering your arm/wrist?... I'd really like some help in this area, and I took notice in most of your videos, that you kinda leave the thumb free. I sometimes find myself placing my thumb on the backside of the accordion, which leaves no room for me to maneuver to other buttons. can you help me out with that?.... thank you very much!
Hi Pat. It's hard to help without seeing you and your accordion but it sounds like your hand is not far forward enough in the strap. Your thumb should be free and not resting on the accordion. Hope that gives you something to work with. Good luck!
You are beautiful women. Sorry to tell you that I am not fan of your play, because you have made lot of small mistakes. Besides the pace of your play is too slow in relation to the original. I play the peace too in the right pace, but my recording contains one small mistake and I am not going to publish it now . Please don't be angree with me. Regards
Hi Bogdan, thanks for your feedback. When I recorded this video I had only been playing accordion for maybe four years and I had not had any accordion lessons. I am proud of my achievements and I continue to improve every year.
@@accordionlucyYour play is very good. It was only one of your performances I did not like. If you wish I can sent you my not public performance of this valse to your e-mail address. I listened many of your performances which have received my positive reviews. Some of them I liked very much. I wish you merry Christmas!
Bogdan - before you dare to criticize this playing, which, in my opinion is a flawless rendition of this piece of music, let us see your playing. My bet is that you're no good and afraid to post your attempt. Go ahead - prove me wrong - post your version.
Wonderful sound! I feel like I'm lost in a world of music.
That's great. Thanks for a lovely comment :)
