"... quite understated, unless you have the bright orange version, then it certainly isn't understated."
I definitely glanced guiltily at my bright orange CH 92 on my desk.

Thanks for another excellent review! I have this pen with a FM nib, which I absolutely love. I worried that a clear demonstrator might be too plain, but this pen has enough subtle design elements to make it interesting, and it looks stunning with a vibrant ink sloshing around in it.

Wow, the 92 is more expensive in the US $220 vs $170 for the 74! Great review - I love the 92s because I prefer the style and the piston filler. I have one in medium and one in medium-fine which is better for cheap paper.

Mine arrived yesterday. I got the orange, also with a fine nib. Love, love, love this pen, in orange it's really cool. It will be used a lot for sure

I like the ends on the 92 a tad better versus the 74. Thanks for the review!!

It look like a full size Pilot Prera, thanks for the review.

I just took the plunge and bought one of these tonight...lots of saving and then um-ing and ah-ing over this and the decimo...
I don't think anyone in NZ sells Pilot fountain pens ( we just just got metropolitans in our version of WHSmith last month...), so I guess at least the UK has stockists, even if they are expensive...if that's any consolation!! I ordered from Japan :) Did you buy one in the end?

Ногти - мое почтение. При таком размере лучше их заточить и выцарапывать ими на бумаге - вместо ручки

On a pen I see F/M same type as your fine nib, so does this mean it’s a fine nib with a bit of med on the line variation?

I really want to buy this pen but it's just soo expensive!

I think the reason this pen seems so expensive is because I've been trying to compare it to a TWSBI.

Is it me or does this pen look a bit like a Pilot Prera?

The only thing I dislike on this pan is that it takes 1 3/4 turn to unscrew the cap which can be a bit tedious when you are taking intermittent brief notes in the meetings.

I would be too scared to take this pen out my house let alone use it for company meetings.

Si ma la qualità di quella penna non può reggere il confronto con un'italiana #vgs

There is no fountain pen in the world which is better than an italian one, you are right, Mario.

    • @arnauuu1

@@vecchiaguardiastilografica This only applies to Aurora (certainly one of the best brands nowadays). All the other Italians, including the deceased Omas, Stipula, Visconti, etc... are full of problems, and worse, the customer service is lousy at best.
Anyway, I have yet to see a pen as reliable, solid and durable as a Pelikan m800 or a Lamy 2000.
