man, i have been on a massive trip back to my youth over the last few days, and Skulker are right up there. Saw them many times, even got to hang out a bit after a gig at the Newcastle Uni. Miss this band, and miss those days - can never take the memories from me though!
I often wonder what they'd sound like now if they'd stayed together. There aren't that many all female Aussie rock bands out there, Legs Electric, Stonefield maybe, nobody else really comes to mind.
I'll have to PM you the longer answer :) Batti left in 2003 to Canada, married a guy called Greg and they have recently returned to Oz. Naomi was replaced in Skulker by a guy called Greg. Greer got married to that Greg and last time I spoke to her she was working on the editorial staff of a parenting magazine! Funny. Annette moved to London in 2007-ish and works in PR management. Ange and I still swap birthday SMSs and she is still loving drumming in a band called Boston Shaker!
That intro is incredible and isn't on the album. I wish they'd had the industry behind them a bit more instead of just having Powderfinger shoved down our throats.
Fkn AMAZING!!! Team Skulker!! I have never seen this. What an amazing find. The girls on fire just before they all started to find their different lives. Oh how I miss the Sydney days of being there at every gig. The girls remain to be INCREDIBLE in their post-band endeavours. I will love these times til the day I die :) xxx
This band was the shit awesome band.i just recently got their first ep morgan to the moon . These gals were Australia's pinups for chick rockers sooo effing goood

I teach and mentor young people and show this to all of them, mainly the girls that have ambitions of forming all girl bands. What are the post band endeavours they are involved in? There's a band in WA called Legs Electric - they supported my band a couple of weeks ago. Insanely good musos and fun girls.

Yes, same here. Rock music has only so many litres in the tank and I wonder if they would've got more progressive with time which leads to longevity.
