Oh my lord, my head physically hurts after watching this. The last game had me in tears from how hard I was laughing. This was one of the funniest Jackbox sessions yet!
I love how Jeremy is mentioning how he needs something playing to go to sleep, I'm the same way and threw on his among us playlist for background noise (and then when I wake up it's a nice motivation to wake up because i'll be interested in the video)
Everyone: *Talks for a full minute about how the game is about rhyming* Jeremy: Now remember, you have to rhyme. Kat: Oh, I wish I'd known that going in!
For those wondering: A neon tetra is actually just a normal pet fish. You can find them in most pet stores that sell fish. They're small schooling fish.
I would love it if Jackbox Games went and did a Party Pack "Redux", one where they make revamped versions of the less popular games from older party packs that could use updates. Also Role Models might be my favorite Jackbox game.
Yay! Always love triva~ 01:10:20 or ish -- Madame Medusa is from "The Rescuers", the one about the mice that help a young girl get out of her terrible life. Medusa's the one with the gators/crocs and forces the young girl to find a jewel for her. (Gosh I haven't seen that movie in like over a decade...)
Mexican ASMR, perfecto! Just Gassy speaking softly, the sizzling of a grill, idle chatter in Spanish and music way in the distance, and the smell of spices and warm tortillas cooking. It'd knock me out, that's for sure. Also make me real hungry...
Jeremy knows that Cyberdyne was from Terminator. I'm betting it's because of Epic Rap Battles of History, rather than Jeremy actually having seen a movie
Few years later & Chilled's reaction to the 2nd slide for his Yu-Gi-Oh rant presentation still puts me to tears from laughing so hard & makes me literally rewatch that reaction like 5 times.😂😂
I lost my shit on the Joke Boat. I was laughing to the point of tears. The presentation game rounds had me in much the same way and I was wheeze laughing at Chilled's Yu-Gi-Oh round of it. Especially, when the 2nd slide image popped up for him.XD
Jeremy in the end of the game at the exit section (answering 3 questions) your cam is often in the way of the questions. Can you move your cam to bottom left for that section?
With the term limits for presidents it was only a mutual agreement because of the example Washington set. It didn't change until FDR in WW2 because he didn't want to have the turmoil of an election added to the stress of the war. So then when Eisenhower took over after FDR passed the term limits whete put into real law and not just a silent agreement.

Okay I have to share my dumb contribution to the one joke boar prompt cause I am weirdly proud of it... Marriage is a lot like DOGS... if you bite a stranger, they're probably going to get rid of you That is all 😬😅🤐
Role Models is a fun game but definitely a little too long. It would be better if the audience didn't get to vote (so it was quicker) & if they could preview/ back out of categories tbh (so they didn't get stuck w/ a boring/ difficult one).
Joke Boat & Mad Verse City are dumb but surprisingly hilarious - Jeremy's were definitely the best. One criticism I hv of Jackbox is that it seems like you hv to experience w/ a lot of the games to understand them - ppl often to see to be going into it confused & it hurts their prompts (which sucks when games are around 20mins long). I wish all the games had a short & simple tutorial video that shows an example of how to play (rather than explaining it since a lot of them seem to be visual learners) before it makes them write prompts.
People make fun of Cheesy because of his lets say youthful ignorance, but he doesnt hold a candle to Platy and his. Not saying I dont like him because hes fun to have on but hes a poster child for anti-weed campaign
I'm glad they hv so much fun w/ Talking Points but it's definitely one of the weaker ones for me. It seems like the point is to catch ppl off guard/ make ppl bullshit their way thru it, but I think it would probably be more fun if they had a minute or so to look at the pictures & come up w/ something (2:43:01) rather than being put on the spot - they hv great reactions, but the presentations can be kinda slow/ dragging sometimes tbh. It also seems like they need more options for the pictures (maybe art instead of stock photos) bcos it often seems like ppl struggle w/ them lol (2:38:59 2:58:34 2:59:10 3:24:46)
No, see, because Talking Points is an improv game and on the spot thinking is part of it, in fact, it is the whole point. What you are suggesting takes away from the game in intention making it lose the point of being a game, especially an improv game. They have more time than they would in an improv class I bet. As for the pictures, the people presenting have no control over that and as Zach said their assistant can either help or hinder them with the pictures they choose. Bullshitting, or improv, is the point of the game! Being caught off guard depends on the person picking the pictures and also what they have. Maybe they could have more options, since they seem to only get four I guess, but then it would take longer to pick ONE picture and actually slow down the game. Art, as in them drawing I assume, would actually make the presenting easier but also slow the game down and they can draw and add text anyway. It would also be less fun as a whole. I don't think they struggle nearly as much as you seem to imply. They played twice (they each did two presentations I think) and they each had at least one banger. Both of Jeremy's were great. Zach had two good ones and he is better at improv. Both of Anthony's went well but he didn't know how to go from hope and humans to hooded cultists and cats jazzercising (spelling? I dunno, I don't care) which is fine but he brought it home in the end. Kat's first one about healthy relationships giving you lasers was absolute fire and the photos were perfect! The Vin Diesel one was too specific and the tree image would have been great since he did the voice of Groot but it seems like none of them knew that. Max's one with the turkey image has me crying every time but he managed both of his well; also Jeremy thought the images he got for that assist round as stock images, art would still not be better. And Courtilly's one about blood, sweat and tears was fire as well, second place overall for me, though I can't for the life of me remember her other one right now... Oh! It was the one about real horny girls in your area, yeah, she handled that one well too. As a graded score based on all of that, solid nine out of ten and the two point-fives weren't at fault of the game but those rounds. Overall, the pictures were perfectly fine, they just have to have more open topics or get lucky for images. The tree huggers one would have been great if they knew about him being Groot and any vehicle would spark the Fast and Furious franchise topic for Kat's second round presenting but alas. Not the end of the world. What you are suggesting they make via all those unnecessary changes is a game that they would have in public speaking classes (if the classes were good, fun and interesting) where they get some time to generate ideas, trade and then make a short five minute presentation to present and then present as practice. For a comedy improv game, it is exactly what it needs to be. I think Talking Points is perfect and great fun! Genuinely though, some of your issues weren't actually the game at all or would make it longer and not a game to change them.
