I just installed a Samsonas Dog Box with straight cut gears in my S2000, and after my first drive I too will be wearing hearing protection next time - shit it loud! 😂
Jesse Cudjoe Transmission is doing fine. Been driving it on the street, and I like it so far. I don't make videos a lot, but I'll try to get more uploaded soon.
J. C. holding around 995ftlbs I believe, not breaking. there's an even stronger version than that. I'm on the standard dog box. I'd buy with confidence.
Dog box can shift without clutch, but you need ignition cut or lift throttle. Strain gauge is very useful to tell ECU when you shift. Sequential transmissions need to lift throttle or ignition cut, too.
@@aditya-br3kg You use a strain gauge to tell the ECU to cut the ignition. It can be built into the transmission box or into the shifter handle. Do a search for strain gauges and it should explain it all.
Driveshaft exploded a joint on the dyno. As a precaution, I will replace the rear tail shaft bushing in the transmission. There has literally been zero problems with the transmission itself. I will wait for this coronavirus stuff to blow over before trying to dyno again. Thank you.
oh man nice car, but the sound these gearboxes make are so cool

Like bro..
Excellent
Transmission hold out still?any new vids to come?

Jeffrey Rainwater how much power/torque have u out through it?
Jesse Cudjoe I'm not sure. just 93 octane. I'll know for sure in a couple months.
do you know what kind of power and torque these are rated for? big single 2j?

with a dogbox, you can shifting without clutch and without release a throttle, right ?

@@JeffreyRainwater like clutchless ? but in some videos I see that sequential trans doesn't need to lift the throttle
, how can do that ?

@@JeffreyRainwater is it same with quickshifter for motorcycle ?
@@aditya-br3kgMore or less. Quickshifters often work in conjunction with ignition cut
How’s it holding up ?

Where did you have the trans done at?
Jay Slaton. SpeedForSale in Atlanta, GA.
@@JeffreyRainwater no issues with it so far? Looking at either doing the PGS build or a T56 magnum. Looking for 800ish ft lbs or more of torque.
I don't know anybody having any kind of issue, with any of the PGS stuff. You can break any transmission shifting it incorrectly.
Ok man. Thank you!
Jay Slaton. I never heard PGS break yet from power or hard launches. 1400+whp so far I hear. no problems.
Again. 💦
I wanna see down shifting
Ok. when it gets warmer and I bring it out. I need to make a WOT video, too.
