hi Mathias nice to see u :-) mostly Indonesia people eat rice n noodle for breakfast, lunch n dinner, mostly Indonesian cuisine a lot of herbs n spicy different with Northern Europe cuisine is simple; sourdough bread, with cheese, raspberry or apricot jam, Norwegian Smoke Salmon is great food mix with dill n tartare sauce, i usually watch Andreas Viestad host for New Scandinavian Cuisine, btw u write bhs indonesia fluently :-)
I love bread, cheese, meat, milk, that i thought i'll be fine in German, but soon then i realised nothing compare warm rice with rendang, or food covered in sambal , or hot fish soup ..haha glad to lived in indonesia 😁
Then why don't you make your Norway hot food also mix with Indonesian style,, maybe you can make new recipes like example,, "Salmon pedas manis" atau "Rendang Salmon" it should be tasty 😋

Northern European dish mostly are grain, dairy, and fish. Southern European is more diverse especially the Mediterranean region. Spain, Italy, Greece, etc. But even with less variety of food in Northern Europe, they can grow so tall. Scandinavian people are so tall. Dutch too.
1st time at norwey (Larvik) my Norwegian friend left lot of food supplies at her cabin (she also borrow me her cabin for me to stay at Larvik for a week) ...and I'm surprised I found rice but in a transparan plastic with small hole, well the instruction wrote at the box, the rice boiled with the plastic and I remember I try to read it like 10 times did I read it right 😂 turn out it is the rice boiled still inside the plastic...when it finished I'm stunt the texture is soft cook well like with rice cooker and I was thinking why this not sell at Indonesia... Goshhh I miss that tuna macarel on tube 🤤 and I miss the brown sweet cheese goat cheese....and strawberry!! It soo sweet not sour like at Indonesia small & sour, I hope I can comeback there specially walking at the forest when summer and see secret place 🤭 where music festival held Wishing you & family health 🙏
I live in Berlin and Salmon fish in Europe is cheaper than in Indonesia, but I miss eat other fish such as Gurami, mujair, Lele aka catfish that can’t find here in Europe😆

I would suggest you buy 'First Price' or 'Extra' products 😅✌. Sometimes it even cheaper than some of the Indonesian products.
