Happy to stumble Accross your channel your driving me to get into cnc Ik the only way I’ll be able to actually learn it is to build it myself then explore into other options but first I’ll have to understand it completely

Hi Alex, thanks for taking the time to make your videos in English! I enjoy learning from talented people such as yourself with interesting and practical ways of doing things. Best to you on your new channel! FYI, I lived in Germany as a child, but now live in Texas, USA. -Jim-

Hi Alex, just found your english channel. Great stuff! Have you made the cupboard fronts in the background yourself? If yes, how?

I love that you will make an English version. Being Danish, I know a bit of german, but its quite hard to understand it all. English is much better and I hope that it will give you many more followers.

    Hi Alex,
Nice machine you 've got there. If you can find some time to tell us about the electronics involved in your machine, it would be great.
    Thanks.

Why is that desktop cnc so rigid? Typically you dont see results like that from a desktop mill but that thing must be stout to be able to cut with such rigidity.

Hey Alex! Can you do a video on your probe setup? I am thinking about making one myself :)

      Hi,
I have so many ideas for new Videos. Including one about my 3D probe. But that will take time that I don't have enough at the moment. I think I will have more time from autumn to winter. Then I will also synchronise some of my German videos that might be interesting for my English viewers :)

Hi, nice machining channel, really enjoy following your work!, And good with english since I can't understand much Germen. A little request (or big perhaps): Is it possible for you to translate the CNC router presentation video? I'm trying to build something similar and would like to be able to understand the description in this video. Specifically how you mounted the linear rails on the steel tubing / how/if the steel tubing was flattened, some epoxy involved?

      Hi,
have planned an English version of that video for a longer time now. I hope I will have enough time in March to do that. To answer your question here the mounting surface is machined. Unfortunately that wasn't perfect so I used foil to shim the linear rails where needed.

@@AlexCNCen ok, thanks for info. I've made some tests with machining the steel tubing but with less than good results, the material (80x80x5mm) steel tends to bend and contains slot of stress when face milling it (I have a larger milling machine, cast iron stuff ..) I'm going to make a third attempt just taking approx 0.1mm away at a time and flip sides often down to 78mm. See if that helps :) looking forward to an English version in March then, but no stress, thanks. /Greetings from Sweden.

@@liposly My tubes have 10 and 8mm wall thickness. I think that helped to prevent bending. Otherwise taking light cuts multiple times are the right way to go when you can't anneal the steel

      Hi,
that sounds interesting but I really don't have any time to make such things in the next future. And by that I mean until the end of next year.
      sorry
      Best
      Alex
