2021 was another year requiring courage, strength and fortitude. We worked hard in our respective careers, we tore down broken places, learned new skills, rebuilt and recreated. We were all very sick and thankfully, we all recovered. We lost loved ones who left empty places in our lives and nothing will ever fill where they once stood. We gained the gift of a new family member, Michael's wife Amanda, and new places of joy were created.
2022 is before us - each of us must bravely press on, taking a step at a time, asking for help when help is needed. Even when we are separated, we can encourage each other.
There is a guide who has gone before us on the trail ahead. There is a path of love and hope marked out for us by God. We all feel anxiety and stress at every side, we are surely worn out and weary... but while we stay on the path, we are not alone. That truth can help us to be strong, to even make a difference so we can blaze a trail for others to follow.
