I think these videos are very educating. If I were giving a class about Truck Company Ops, I would use these videos as a teaching tool. This is how it's done.
I really hope the folks in Philly appreciate how good their Fire Department is. Great video, sorry about the eagles.
Rescue’s Grinder?? Nice!!!
I'm not from a fire fighter back ground so please be kind
Can I ask near the beginning, what gave the flames a purple colour? Would it be the type of material burning and type of chemicals being given off?
Only asking as I like to learn new things ❤️🥰
Nice work Jesse, you guys got that ground floor open fast. So, besides mice w/ matches, how did this fire begin?
Possible Lightning ⚡️ Strike
I notice you guys don't tie off the halyards, using a clove hitch on your ground ladders. Interesting, because we were taught to always tie them off.
We were taught that in the fire academy as well, but in real world situations it's time consuming and doesn't really have a point. Ground ladders go up, are locked in, and immediately climbed for ventilation and roof access. I've never seen a halyard damaged or anyone trip and fall because it wasn't tied off. Personally, I believe it's more of a hazard being tied to the rungs where it could be tripped over ascending or descending the ladder.
@@jesseosada4690 I agree with you. I was just wondering, and I feel the same way as you.
I enjoy watching the videos of the fires you post. You guys sure work your butts off on that truck company; bull work.
I need a Philly FD shirt.
