The NASB Grapplers got such a glow up in this game! I was already hyped for Patrick, but Reptar is blowin my mind here! I can't wait to be this giant kaiju chuckin folks around while ice skating haha!
I was actually more excited to see the Dark Garfield skin and find it funny to see a offical Nick game that has dark forms of characters like Grandma Gertie, Ren and Stimpy, Nigel, Angry Beavers, Garfield and much more. My guess is that the darker forms is apart of the story campaign and you unlock those skins after unlocking the character in the campaign from Spongebob's story.
The only main I had in NASB1 that didn’t get cut! Here’s to hoping he’s not completely bottom tier Also, Reptar’s top hat alt seems to be a reference to the ending of the PS1 game Rugrats: The Search for Reptar!

I wonder if the dark Garfield alt is a campaign thing you can unlock. I remember in the subspace emissary, every character had a dark version you could fight in the great maze. Maybe it’s like that in the campaign, but you can actually play as these dark alternates when you defeat them.
I’m SO glad this game got unlockables for characters Don’t get me started on reptar man, I WILL be spamming that f-throw. Building momentum the more I run is giving me heart eyes. And the reason I enjoyed king DDD’s hammer in ultimate was because of the pushback on shields that made me safe…. **evil smile*
I will only use the Mecha Reptar outfit Not Only does it look cool, But its aslo a Rugrats in Paris reference, a movie I love and it's the Closest I'll ever get to playing as the babies
Does anyone know how to preorder the digital version, I know you can preorder the “physical” version and the steam version. But every time I try to order the ultimate edition for switch it says preorders will be available later this fall.
Oh sorry, apparently because of the slight date change it's now said that there won't be digital preorders at all. Instead the preorder bonus Patrick costume will be available to all that get the game during the first week of its release! I also wanted to get the game and pre-download it early, but ah well, getting it day-of shouldn't be too bad or anything!

I just noticed, the Jimmy's Lab stage has his Shrink Ray in its default form. I think that's to justify why the fighters are tiny fighting on the desk

Reptar is a viable charachter in nasb 1 although some matchups like against sandy and garfield are very rough for him
