- Stephen Colbert takes part in a great interview at the Harvard University Institute of Politics. He talks about his favorite guests, how he gets material for his show, and the affects he hopes his show will have on the media. It starts with a one-on-one interview and then he takes a couple dozen questions from the audience.
This was recorded on 12/1/06
After this was done he recorded a segment to be aired on his show (they talk about it in the last video) and you can watch that here:

that guy that asked him if he was available for lunch tomorrow...wow
"Don't have anything against republicans. Just republican policies" Brilliant:)
the 'awkward' people are the people unique enough to stand out and lead change
Great interview.
I agree. He is amazing:)
Wow i've never seen this side of Colbert.. cool guy
WHY THE FUCK IS HE NOT THE PRESIDENT!??? That bit about discovery as opposed to invention and known direction was incredibly inspiring. Because the world is now connected through the web, a single conscious. Basically everyone is on the same page, more or less. Life is less about going through the motions and more about opening doors to new realities. Comedy is the only way to change the world for the better. It's certainly better than killing each other because we can't take a joke, right?
