I have a couple of old audio tapes of The Prodigy playing live which I bought on Camden Market around 1994 / 1995 and I can confirm that this tune is indeed featured on one of those tapes. There were a few low quality live recordings circulating on the internet in the late nineties as well which featured this tune. I seem to remember that it was reffered to as 'Gabba' after someone took a photo of the set list from a gig which listed it. Cheers!
@@Armtone I'm going to have to have a think where I saw those set list photos. When I was a kid in the 90s I kept a Prodigy trainspotters folder of every single print mention of the band that I could find. I rekon there might be a photo of it in there somewhere. I'll dig it out and have a look. Also, back in the 90s a guy named Tobi Wood had a web-site called The Prodigy underground archive were he featured all the rare tunes from the pre Fat of The Land Era. He also had a live section featuring audio clips and also HTML set lists. Gabba was one of the tunes featured and he had multiple audio clips from different sets. It was the Dead Ken Beats of it's time, always being talked about along with a tune called Brown which I beleive was eventually developed into Diesal Power. Cheers!
Just to confirm, those audio clips of Gabba featured the tune trailing in on the back of other known Prodigy tunes and Maimum was talking over them so they were definitely real.
WOW!! This is PROPER holy grail for me!! Seems totally legit to me! Any chance of a wav file of this? I've been wanting a studio copy of this since 94!!
Most certain, there are many fans out there that would love to know who was the seller and how he got that gold on his hands. One way or another, thank you for uploading this gem
Randy Marsh Bro thnx God u did it! It’s the best vers of dat dope track I heard before! Thanks for sharing this rare af masterpiece man! The biggest respect from Russia 🙌
G.T.O. - Tip Of The Iceberg (1993). Трек Tranceporter + трек My Father promiced Me a Sword = Gabba.
Liam makes poison as a statement that faster isn’t always better or harder…. But still drops one of the best Gabber tracks out there 😅

Hardcore!!!

FUCKIN SEND IT
ok so its fan recreated
This was so seriously full throttle shit from Liam - that's got to north of 150bpm
i think it was 160bpm the last i checked
This sounds more like the birth of Schranz, than out right Gabba. But who cares about all of the pigeon hole genre deal. Good tune, end of.
want Stub 2008
F
What has this got to do with the rapper Prodigy of Mobb Deep? I don't get it...!?
The Prodigy, as in the UK rave group.
🤦♀️
Can you upload the original recording somewhere? Archive.org might be a good place.
