Can’t beat these fore the $$. I’ve seen a few reviews on these. Some cheap oil filled shocks and maybe a motor/esc upgrade I’m sure will improve, but I remember them being pretty good! I love the black/ paint scheme on the body work.I know you’ll be making some awesome improvements on this. Always exciting to get great deals on Rc’s brother! Take care my good friend and God bless!🙏🏼💯👊🏼🍻

I reviewed this one when it got first released, TBH i don't think its worth spending any money on at all, gears are plastic so don't waste your time, the ESC can't handle 3s, mine blew the chip that controls the servo straight away (have a playlist on this truck) I ended up changing the servo and 3S capable brushed esc out of another RC before i eventually sold it cheap. It's a good starter truck for kids hence the 8+ rating but that's about it really. Not worth spending any coin on this one mate

@@PERTHWESTOZRC Thanks for watching🤙 and for the tips. Agreed, no need to drop $ on it, but I had some spare parts in the bins that have really helped. I'm enjoying it more than I expected, especially for the deal. Only drawback is there's no adjustment for pinion swaps, and it has a pressed 14t pinion. I figured it wouldn't take 3s(I've smoked a few budget ESCs🤣), so I tossed in a spare 550 12t. Only had to get the pinion for it. Has a plastic spur, but it's holding up well, probably because of the set mesh. Thanks again for watching, got you subbed👊 QuadifyRC has a great breakdown of this one too!

@@motorheadaddictions2761 It also is very tail heavy when jumping it of a ramp so there is no air control at all to level the chassis out mid air even when applying brake as seen in this video ua-cam.com/video/T2xg3ZjvcsM/v-deo.html
All the weight is in the rear and every time it just lands on the rear spoiler/wing.
Intitially when i first received this truck for review i planned on perhaps upgrading it to brushless but once i found out the spur and diff crown gears are plastic, i realised it wasn't worth modding it.

Arrma granite voltage 1/10 scale is 2× and its 119 $ right now

Thanks for watching and the suggestion🤙 I had considered the granite voltage and missed the deal when it was down to $90. I like the mid motor rwd design and battery compartment, but arrma spare parts can be a bit pricey and they use a different wheel hex size. But if it drops again, I might have to pick one up 🤣 I'm having more fun with this one than expected, and the size is good. I may convert this chassis to a different style some day, a rwd 1/8 TC sounds cool. For the $80 deal, I recommend. Maybe not for the full price, I think they list for $130.
