Thanks for making this video so easy, I love the drink package for all the reasons you gave. I'm doing my next cruise with different friends and I'll show them your video instead of me trying to explain it. Love your idea of the Irish coffee😄
Yes! There are definitely opinions all over about whether it's worth it. We just love the feeling of not having to worry about costs once we step on the ship (with the exception of the arcade haha).
Great video, thank you for posting this. Quick question if you order a double of any alcoholic beverage is that included with the deluxe package or are you charged extra?
Hi thank you for your video. Very informative. I am definitely going to get the drinks package. I wouldn't want the headache of a bill at the end. BTW I am about to go on my 1st cruise in January 2023. My question is when I purchase the drinks package can I use it in the mdr? Love from trinidad and tobago 🇹🇹
Heck ya! Yes, the main dining room (I assume MDR is what you were saying?) is one of the best places to use it. Nice wine and martini with dinner, after dinner Bailey's with espresso. Perfect. Happy cruising!
I was on liberty in 2019. I got hot coffee we with Kahlua and Bailey's every morning. I paid $45. My husband can't drink so I called RC. They let him get the refreshment package.
Thank you for the video. If i am doing math right... $70/pp X 7 day cruise is roughly $980 Do you feel like you drank that much worth? It seems like it is close to another fare that you are paying for alcohol.
Money wise? No. Probably not. But we tried 🤣 But between fun stuff for the kids and not having to think about it, it was worth it. To put it in perspective, we took a Disney cruise a couple months later and didn’t have a single drink on board because it was too expensive hahaha Also, you nailed it. We paid more for the drink package than we did for the cruise. Literally.
So much more than alcohol is included. Fresh squeezed juices, bottled water (get some to take on excursions), mocktails, and specialty coffee (not Starbucks) when the price is right and you drink a variety of other included beverages. It's only 2 or 3 alcoholic drinks a day. Oh, I forgot the Coca-Cola as I may only have 2 on the cruise
The drink package is absolutely worth it, my last cruise left us two with a $1500 bar tab, so yeah is a bargain really. Last one was oceanview balcony on Allure, I told my friend that I will pay for the cruise and airfare + extras, you just cover the bar tab. Poor guy!
love these parents ...always Pissed on booze but totally 100% parent level A* come to South Australia , you will fit in. Im using you as a guide on our Royal C cruise...we will be more wankered lol
Totally! It's definitely totally dependent on what you want to do with your cruise. It was essentially a pay off if, between one kid and one adult, we planned on getting 5 non-water drinks in a day. Given that this included water bottles and such, it worked out nicely.

We never needed to worry about that, drinks were pretty well strong. And if they weren't, we just ordered a floater and no one batted an eye.
The Goombay Smash was my sea day jam. I always get the beverage package and it’s worth it.

Mom is like "We are NOT sharing, I repeat, NOT sharing" translates to DO NOT COME FOR ME IN THE COMMENTS> LMAo I love her
Ain’t nobody got time for that 🤣
I also would get mimosa with breakfast.
What glass koozie were you using? I need one!
It was a Yeti!
Buy one get one 50% off is 25% off each package.
Still better then a 20% discount.
Not as good as 30% discount…
Do they let u have more than one drink at once
Can’t order two at a time, but you can order back-to-back!
Sometimes one of us will take both our cards to get us each a drink.

Oh now that’s a rough deal haha!

The ultimate drink package is 100 percent worth for me. I know people who drink very little so it might not be woth for them.
Ya, it's a very person-specific decision! For us, the price was worth to not have to think about it.
@@FamilyonStandby Yep, peace of mind is definitely something I like when it comes to vacations.
I can’t see myself getting a drink package when on a cruise. I guess it to cheap when it comes to alcohol lol 😂
