Thank you for sharing such a positive video of our town. It gets a bad rap sometimes but I’ve lived here for 15 years & I love this town. The people are amazing, hard working & friendly. Totally sharing with my family in the UK.
You’re so welcome! I’m heading back to Pueblo in a few days and already excited to be back there. I wish there was more of a focus on the good of Pueblo, so I’m thankful my video can help :)
My home town…Pueblo, rich in history and beautiful people. I’ve lived in several places and few people have heard about Pueblo. I visit my family at least once a year, and you’ve highlighted some things that are new to me. I really need to get out more when I’m there. Thank you for this wonderful video!
You need to judge this city by its cover. The crime is way worse than statistics identify. There are gunshots almost every night during the warm months and every couple nights during the cold ones. There are tweakers everywhere, and everywhere there's not a tweaker there's a heroin junkie. Someone broke into my truck and stole my McDonald's burritos while i ran into homedepot, didn't steal a single tool but cost me a window. People drive like it's a mad max meets fast and furious crossover! There are not enough stores for the amount of people there, that coupled with all the shoplifters means they will often be out of things you want. The bums are aggressive when you tell them no and I got into a handful of fights in the one year I was there. But they are usually drunk and can't hardly stay on their feet so if you're big enough to restrain a 5 year old kid that's no big deal. Unless they decide to pull a knife... -5/10 ⭐
Thank you! Pueblo is getting a really bad reputation, but this is my home. It was awesome when I was growing up. What happens here is happening all over the world! Still this is a beautiful town!

Yes! This! Native Michigander here. I fell in love with Pueblo when one of my kids lived there, also in the Mesa junction area. Although they don't live there anymore, I plan to look for a place there when I retire unless I hit the lotto first, then sooner lol. It's hard to put into words but I pine for it. The weather is perfect, there are so many cool book and record and antique stores, very bohemian and very me in some of the downtown areas. Delicious food, all kinds of stuff to do. Art everywhere. Shorter winters but you still get that snow for Christmas. You can find bad crime areas in any town anywhere. I love Pueblo, and good for your mom for choosing an awesome place to be! I envy her!

Wonderful video. I grew up in Pueblo left for 5 years and have been back for 50 years. Some of the bad reputation comes from locals who moved away and some still here. Coincidentally on June 1st I am moving back to my childhood home on the east side of Pueblo! I have been all over the world in my travels but there is no place like home!❤
Thank you so much for showing the world what a Beautiful city my hometown is. Pueblo tends to get a bad rap and like you mentioned that is what people think. The people of Pueblo are proud if their town and your video proves it. Thank you!

Yep, Pueblo gets a bad rap but it is a hidden gem. It’s starting to become discovered for sure now. Great weather and great food, only 30 minutes or so to mountain areas and a really nice lake.
Even though it’s ranked as one of the worst places to live in Colorado. I’m here now and I can see the disparity. Homelessness. Needles everywhere. People getting murdered. No thanks. Colorado Springs is so much safer and nicer.
@@shaggymcdaniel3216 lol, not near as much homelessness as downtown Springs. You didn’t see any needles, I have seen one since I’ve lived in downtown Pueblo for 5 years. Pueblo has it’s issues but other than the beautiful views Springs is trash. I’ve live in both places.
"Bad rep" it gets the reputation it deserves. It's a beautiful* city with some really unhinged people and some of the most disrespectful and dangerous drivers I've encountered outside of LA. Acting like there isn't a problem with the social state of this city will only cause the issues to never be resolved and simply become brushed under the rug until they get worse.
@@RealBono not sure about the drivers, there are much worse in every major city. I worked all over the country for 25 yrs, the very worst drivers I’ve seen are in Miami. Anyway, Pueblo has always gotten a bad rap from people in Denver/Northern Colorado, many of which have never even been to Pueblo. Those who actually spend some time here tend to like it. Most who move to Pueblo from Northern Colorado also like it here. Don’t get me wrong, Pueblo has lots of problems that need addressed. Drugs have become a huge problem over the last 6-7 yrs. Homelessness is a problem, but that is everywhere.
I Love your video, and I love living in Pueblo. I got the same negative feedback when I first decided to make Pueblo my home 9 years ago. It has been a wonderful place to live with good people and now good friends. I feel very much at home here and miss it when I'm away. Prayers for your mother.
We lived in Pueblo 25 years ago and was back in town last week. I won't lie, it was looking pretty sketchy. Lots of boarded up houses, homeless tents on the side of the highway. We were downtown the day after Thanksgiving so it was Friday and a holiday weekend. Nothing was open, we drove around looking for a place to have dinner and it was a ghost town for some reason. Love the weather in Pueblo, sunny and no humidity.
I just discovered your channel because i'm looking at homes in Pueblo! I know I want to move to Colorado and the homes there are more affordable than most and you're right, online it gets sort of a bad reputation. Thank you SO much for this amazing, well- thought out and genuine tour of the place. I love it, what an adorable town when you get to explore it. 😊
It's all very cool! The riverwalk reminds me of the San Antonio Riverwalk. You are right it does have New Mexico vibes. Prayers and healing thoughts for your Mom 💖💖🙏🙏💖💖
Thank you!!! I lived in Salida in 2008. Visited Pueblo with a native Coloradian...it seemed so run down then. I hope to revisit Colorado soon! Love to you and your mom!😊🇺🇸🙏✌
Loved this vlog! My parents retired to CO Springs 13 years ago and we visit every year but really have only explored Springs and Denver. They always told us Pueblo wasn't a "good area" but everything you explored looked so fun and quirky and delicious and beautiful! We will have to drive down and try some of those things on our next CO visit. Sending lots of love and positive vibes to your Mom. Thank you for sharing. 💜
That is exactly the common perception of Pueblo. That was one of the reasons I wanted to make this video, to perhaps give a little different perspective on the town that often gets overlooked.
@@milenko069 I don't mean to be negative, but everywhere is fun to visit. Your grandparents were correct. We have a lot of deeply rooted social, cultural, educational and economic issues. We have a lot of new people moving here, with new ideas, so over time, things may change.
Thank you so much for letting people know how great our town is. We moved here from Illinois in 2008 and we found the same thing, the people are the friendliest!
Great job! I've lived in the area for over 50 years and never heard of neon alley - it's now on my "to do" list, along with the new food Hall. We don't live in Pueblo but it's our closet large town. When the library was built, I told people how awesome it was - and that it looked like something in a much larger city.......many visits to this library!!!!!!! Thanks for the great video. I was born and raised in Pueblo, yob 1947. I no longer reside there and haven't for years. I did enjoy seeing all of the areas you enjoy so much. My great grandparents lived on Abriendo Avenue. I have living and deceased relatives in the old home town. I am so glad you appreciate so much, I really missed it for a very long time.
Been thinking about moving to Pueblo for my health and your video really helps. I love the way you present yourself and the towns you feature. Subscribed!
A typical Pueblo answer. They look through you. To your heart first. How's the family? How's so n so ect.....u can feel sincere person with just a few words. I miss Pueblo when I read this
Thank you so much for doing this amazing video on my home town of Pueblo. This town does get a bad rap, but it doesn’t deserve it. In addition to all of the things you mentioned, the community here in Pueblo is second to none! The people here would give you the shirt off their back! I love my home town and am so glad to call it home today. Next time you are here, don’t forget to check out the air museum out by the air port and Reservoir Brewing in Pueblo West!
Great video to showcase the town! Glad to see such a positive attitude taken here. You could see any town or anything as glass half full or half empty of course and you take the high road :)
I lived in pueblos all my life feels good when people come to my city and say good things because other people specially up north to Colorado springs Denver everyone says Pueblo is the trash of Colorado but we do have crime but that's everywhere but it feels good to hear people say that about your town
Adam - you make Pueblo seem so wonderful! I want to move there. It sure looks beautiful. Loved this vlog. Enjoy he rest of your time in Pueblo, California
Thank you so much for making this video. I honestly had never heard a thing about Pueblo, other than it existed 🤣 I can see why your Mom loves it! What a cool town! Continued prayers for your Mom. 🙏❤️
Thanks for sharing all the wonderful areas of Pueblo, Adam. I’ve only driven through on the interstate, which does not present the prettiest version of the city. 😊 Prayers for your mama! 🙏🏼
Adam, as always you are a great tour guide! You find beautiful & interesting places & things where ever you take us! Thanks. Prayer for your Mom. Grammy from Texas
I moved to Pueblo West-about 5 years ago the best thing I have ever done . Absolutely Love Pleblo small town and yes people do say hi as you're passing by. I love the culture here a lot of it. Also love the open sky and the wildlife out here.
Born and raised in Pueblo. Truly a unique town that you don't realize until you leave. You should visit the city park and the zoo historic WPA era buildings and structures.
Thank you for not making us seem like some cess pool other UA-camrs have made us out to be. Like you said, we have crime and problems, what place is without? Again, many thanks from a born and raised Puebloian.
Enjoying your blogs. I loved the neon alley. It reminded me of the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati. I love seeing the cool places you and Sherry have visited. Prayers for your mama!
Thanks for the awesome tour of Pueblo. Life long resident here … I’d Like to first start out and tell you welcome to the home of the hero’s.. you did an awesome review of our town.. You are right there are beautiful things to see here if you look for them. On your next tour you should try liberty point they have awesome sunsets you would love. It over looks Lake Pueblo state park. Also check out the river trails that have different murals of local artists. Haven’t seen very much of your videos but I think all start. Nice to have someone come from some other state and say nice things about our people and town. . prayers for your mother wish her well.. .. Happy trails..
Be careful and do your research. Pueblo is ranked in the worst five US cities in terms of crime. Pueblo is located in a state full of dope smoking Marxist lunatics - thus the crime wave is no accident and will not be resolved - it will only get worse, by design. You are actually safer and better off moving to San Francisco or Los Angeles at this point.
Thank you for this video. I'm a pueblo native born raised and never left and we get a bad rap for no real reason so Thank you for providing such a positive pueblo video love it Thank you
Thanks for posting this! I am a Colorado native born and raised in Denver, but left in 2017 for Pueblo because the growth in Denver and congestion was intolerable! It wasn't even like my home anymore. Pueblo is still like what Colorado used to be like before it was invaded. I think it is a bit overkill how bad the fake reputation is of Pueblo, but then again maybe it is a good thing as it has kept people from going crazy coming here. Denver had WAY more crime and rough spots of town than Pueblo hands down! I would say to the people that want to move here from out of town, DO be mindful to pick a nice area of town still as Pueblo is still a city. There are a couple little rough areas of Pueblo (just like every city), so don't move in on the rough side of the tracks. Most of Pueblo is great, and the pace of life is laid back. The people are amazing, they love their families and they have pride in their families and community (just as it should be). I am content to spend the rest of my days out here in Pueblo enjoying life and the laid back people. BTW Pueblo is EXCELLENT at preserving their history and historical buildings. That is another HUGE reason I came here as I am an old house and old architecture addict!

Five medal of honor winners! I love the Star Bar! Great video, thanks for shining such a favorable light on my home town.
You’re so very welcome! Thank you for watching :)
Been thinking about moving to Pueblo for my health and your video really helps. I love the way you present yourself and the towns you feature. Subscribed!
This looks like a beautiful place to live. I hope your mom is doing ok.
Thank you :)
A typical Pueblo answer. They look through you. To your heart first. How's the family? How's so n so ect.....u can feel sincere person with just a few words. I miss Pueblo when I read this
I grew up in Pueblo and I love your take on my hometown! When I get homesick I watch Pueblo videos. Thank you for making this video. 😊
You’re very welcome! Thank you for watching :)
Love love this. Thank you for sharing! Hope your mom keeps doing better and better.
Thank you! So glad you loved this :)
I lived in pueblos all my life feels good when people come to my city and say good things because other people specially up north to Colorado springs Denver everyone says Pueblo is the trash of Colorado but we do have crime but that's everywhere but it feels good to hear people say that about your town
I hope I get to visit Pueblo soon. We just moved about 3 hours away. Thanks for the tour!
Wow, always drive around the area but have never actually stopped there. Looks like a cool little place. Hope mom is feeling well❤💙🧸

Thank you, Staci!
Thanks for sharing all the wonderful areas of Pueblo, Adam. I’ve only driven through on the interstate, which does not present the prettiest version of the city. 😊
Prayers for your mama! 🙏🏼
Correct! Driving into, and through Pueblo isn’t the most appealing. However, when you get into the heart of the city, it’s pretty great!
I enjoyed this video… grateful for your kindness
Adam, as always you are a great tour guide! You find beautiful & interesting places & things where ever you take us! Thanks. Prayer for your Mom. Grammy from Texas

Thank you for not making us seem like some cess pool other UA-camrs have made us out to be. Like you said, we have crime and problems, what place is without? Again, many thanks from a born and raised Puebloian.
Lovely town!! All the best for your mom!❤
Thank you!
Enjoying your blogs. I loved the neon alley. It reminded me of the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati. I love seeing the cool places you and Sherry have visited. Prayers for your mama!
I really needed to see this!!!
Such a cool town!!! Thanks for sharing!!! I hope your mom had a wonderful Mother’s Day 🥰🥰🥰
It really was a great Mother’s Day!
I live in Pueblo myself and I must say, thanks for exploring! ❤
Love Pueblo and all it has to offer .
Thank You! For such a great video.
Wow what a great video! My wife and I are considering retiring in Pueblo. Thanks for this!!!
I'm a pueblo native born raised and never left and we get a bad rap for no real reason so Thank you for providing such a positive pueblo video love it Thank you
Thank you for sharing this info! We are from the Springs and we will take trip down to try some of the things you recommended. Looks fun!
Hope you enjoy it! Pueblo has a bad reputation, but there is beauty there for those willing to see it!
The history of Pueblo is the coolest part of living in this city.
Neon alley looks fun! Thanks for sharing!
You are very welcome! Thanks for watching
We love pueblo!!! Great weather. Family oriented. Just pick a nice neighborhood 😉
This was a wonderful video. Thank you.
