I had such an exhausting yet fun week full of planty things! ‪@unplantparenthood‬ and I did our first ever live on the Palm Street app (formerly known as PlantStory) which was incredibly nerve wracking but also such an amazing experience to see so many people show up 🥹 we did some anthurium repotting and chopping in her plant room, I show you a little wishlist plant acquisition, and then spend the last day visiting our friends at Vandula Farms for the Ecuagenera pop up and visited another local garden centre for plant and plant pot shopping 🖤

LAVENDER LEMONADE RECIPE
Ingredients:
Lemon juice 1 cup / 250g
Water 1 cup / 250g
Sugar 1 cup / 200g
Lavender 2 tbsp
Butterfly pea flower powder 1 tsp (optional)
1. In a small sauce pan, add water, sugar, and lavender. Bring to a simmer while mixing; once almost boiling, turn off heat and let syrup cool down to room temperature before straining
2. To make lemonade concentrate, combine 250g lemon juice with 250g lavender syrup
3. OPTIONAL: in a separate container, mix 1 tsp butterfly pea flower powder with a splash (~1-2 tsp) of warm or hot water until all of the powder has dissolved
4. Drink building: in a glass with ice, add a ratio of 1:2 lemonade concentrate to water. E.g. for 200g of lemonade concentrate, add 400g of water. Mix. Top with a splash of butterfly pea solution to desired intensity of purple colour. Enjoy!
**you'll have lavender syrup left over after making this recipe because I didn't bother calculating a recipe that perfectly matches the syrup usage to the lemon juice because I sometimes use gravimetric measurements and sometimes volumetric but the important thing is now you have lavender syrup
