In this video we will look at 10 Demon Slayer characters that are based on Japanese mythology , Japanese Yokai in particular. Like many Anime series, Demon Slayer is heavily influenced by Japanese mythology, and this makes it even more interesting!

Asura is also a demigod/demon in Buddhism, so that's why you can find him in Japanese mythology and folklore.
