After the sudden popularity of creep, the band found it hard to make more unique music because creep is what brought in the bucks, at the time lead singer Thom yorke had a crush on a girl that he believed was perfect, and parolized with fear he just fallowed her around and watched her, after cream got big thom no longer felt this way, so he struggled to sing a song that didn’t feel true to himself, he wrote iton lunge as a metaphor for being stuck, the band was successful but the couldn’t sing what they liked, because fear kept them in line, sadly this caused a spiral of depression for thom and sadly in time he took his own like, a knight slain by the dragon he raised. Rest In Peace Thom Yorke, you will forever live in our hearts♥️
