I feel like #26 should have placed higher, they had very good flow and legs. Other than that well done to all. I just wished they would pick better than music!
Pretty sure it's the music. I'm almost certain it would be a more enjoyable experience without vocals in the song at all, and taking out the modern aspects too. Traditional is best in my opinion...
I used to do competitive ballroom dancing as a child. If I continued I could’ve been like one of these ppl. Darn my laid back mom and her decisions this is so cool!

I guess the dancers are ok if they have to dance not even latin music on their presentation. There is so much more latin authentic music. After all it is about dancing the music not the steps.
I was watching a dance final clip and saw a lady's costume that horrified me. I THINK she was aiming for daring and sexy. What she came on the floor wearing was cheap, sluttish and VULGAR. And tacky. You weren't watching her dance, you were waiting for her to catch her heel on the too long trailing piece of skirt she had hanging off of the scrap of fabric she was wearing. She had one hip bare from the back of her buttock, all the way to the front of her pubic bone, with the minimum bit of fabric covering it. And that was only the beginning of the list of what was wrong. All the ladies in THIS clip are wearing sexy, fun costumes that are made to move well with the dance. There is nothing cheap or vulgar about them. It IS possible to do sexy and daring. But there IS a line that shouldn't be crossed.My faves are # 12 and #19.
