- Daizan discusses Right View, the first spoke of the Buddha's Noble Eightfold Path.
Zenways promotes and encourages activities and practices that enhance human wellbeing, balance and awakening (satori or kensho - the enlightenment of Zen) in the many different situations we find ourselves in. Over many years of strict training, in Japan and the west, Julian Daizan Skinner received dharma transmission and permission to teach in both the Rinzai and Soto lineages of Zen. He now teaches at the Yugagyo Dojo in London, UK. May these recordings help you and those around you to find and realise the truth.

Thank you so much. Your words fills me with love. Your friend. Marianne
You are so welcome!
I like the way Thoreau put it. "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not when I came to die discover that I had not lived.
I agree that there is something in us that knows the potential of our life and tries to lead us to fulfilling it.
Thank you, Keith.
Thanks for this videos of the "eight noble path" 🙏
You're very welcome
Thank you for this video. I changed my comment because I understand more now.
"And what is right view? Knowledge with regard to stress, knowledge with regard to the origination of stress, knowledge with regard to the cessation of stress, knowledge with regard to the way of practice leading to the cessation of stress: This is called right view." Digha Nikaya 22
I'm not sure discontent is the right starting point. It's a negative fuel, and may hinder the realisation that we are already enlightened. If discontent is considered the fuel, we create striving, longing and suffering. Nothing is missing. Seeing and experiencing this, is the trick ... perhaps :)
Thanks for your thoughts on this
