I'm sorry, I cannot focus on the content when a middle-aged man wearing a white sweater and white beanie is sitting in frame half the time, it's too goddamn hilarious
he pretty much is always dressed like this. kind of his trademark...Steve Jobs: all black, Theo the white on white....balding in seattle can drive a desire to keep that head warm and dry.
SO bummed that you sort of invalidated the comparison study when you got to the metal mouthpieces. For all the rubber pieces, you played your alto off to your right side, putting you very much on-axis with the mic. But when it came to the metal pieces, you repositioned your horn between your legs & were playing off-axis/away from the mic sweet-spot. I lost a LOT of really good "meat" of what I wanted to hear! If you ever revisit this, please make sure to use the exact same playing position for all examples... THANKS!
If you're looking to play classical and jazz you'll want something versatile. The Yamaha YAS-62, Yanagisawa AWO1 and Selmer Seles Axos would be our top recommendations.
i started on clarinet last year also played tenor sax sometimes. the clarinet usually (almost always) has the more interesting part. it helps develop skill that you might see in highschool

I respect it anyway, man. Good tracks regardless, of course.

So are these mouthpiece more suited for jazz or classical music?
Those are all jazz mouthpieces. The darker ones work in student-level classical settings, but they'd all get you fired from a symphony.
Are these all the same facing? and what facing(s) for them? And same reed?
Are you planning on doing a sop one of these too?
