By the way, Ikaria is ideal for observing the stars, since there is very little light pollution in some areas and I remember being there during an eclipse! (probably another one because I do not remember thunderstorms)
I can only imagine how magnificent the night sky must look from Ikaria. And observing an eclipse, it would be well worth the travel!
