3:03 the elephant swaying means that it’s distracting itself from the fact that it’s lacking social interaction with other elephants. Although some argue that they do it to entertain humans observing them, it’s also argued to be a state of psychosis and shows distress. I don’t particularly know about the place where these elephants are kept, but the message behind this is to always do your research before supporting companies who abuse animals for our pleasure. I think it’s important to look after animals, they’re a lot more vulnerable than you may think (wasn’t trying to rant, just wanted to ensure that less companies who abuse animals get the funds to do so) x

Bad gyal yeah I know:(, some places do genuinely care for the animals they have but others don’t. A lot of research needs to go into people visiting companies that keep animals like this

You’re right but sometimes they sway because of the type of personality they have. I went to this exact place in August and it was a very good experience. Before I went in August the elephants tried to escape and broken down the trees and went onto the road by the maze they’re walking around (on the elephant ride) leads onto a road for the villagers to go to their cows and other animals that were there. So for safety reasons they have chains. A person I met in Bali said they went to a elephant sanctuary in Africa and they were in the restaurant in there and there was a elephant stamped and everyone could of been trampled on and die.

Shea B ......Yes! It was difficult to watch. A quick google search would have provided a wealth of information about unethical animal tourism. Learning about how many of these animals are acquired and the stress they endure to “entertain” tourists, one would be hard pressed to ever think about riding on their backs or even visiting such a park where they are removed from their natural habitat. 😔

Awww I went to the exact elephant sanctuary in August. My best holiday so far. The elephants are sooo friendly. There’s something about them that leave you attached to them.

I'm glad you had so much fun Aaliyah! I've loved Elephants for the longest time. They are such majestic and regal creatures. I've also done my research for when I one day get to interact with an Elephant. Even though they are huge animals they are not built to endure people riding them. Think about the amount of "training" and abuse it takes to get a massive and WILD Animal to just be submissive and allow people to ride them. Just wanted to throw some knowledge at anyone wanting to ride Elephants, please do some research. Much love ❤️🐘

Yanna S. God gave us dominion and ownership over animals. They are not tied up so I'm sure they treat them better than the zoo. It's the same way you ride a horse
WEALTHY 570 God DID NOT give us dominion over animals. That is something humans have decided. And horse riding is just as bad any animal exploitation is bad no matter how “good” they are treated.
Ashley Lindo you clearly not a Christian so I won't even argue..but as a Christian god made us stewards of the Earth and the superior race with a conscience and high intelligence so we could have dominion over animals. Also, that was my point...horseriding is acceptable since the beginning of time for travel. So we can't really be questioning how they treat elephants. Plus it's an elephant sanctuary with fresh food , no cages no whips and clean environment. And they still got their tusks.

hate when people treat animals like they are for our entertainment. elephants wasn’t put here to ride. those people didn’t get those elephants trained by taking their time & giving the snacks. Elephants are made to be domesticated animals for our entertainment. The fact people do anything & everything for money is disgusting. i literally hate zoos & will never take my child to one. I have nothing against aaliyah or her riding the elephant this is just my opinion in general.

That’s so crazy, u went to the same exact elephant park I went to when I was in Bali. It’s so beautiful there. We did the breakfast and the ride package. I feed them, took pics, and did the ride. It was an awesome experience. It seems like u enjoyed it to🐘🤗
