      @@brtpst3005 Hi! thank you very much for the question. As I mentioned in the video, this is no cure for hair loss. However, there are ways of preventing and turning back on hair follicle activity with our Advanced Hair System Serum. DHT is thought to contribute massively to female and male pattern balding. We have conducted studies on female and male pattern balding and have found that our product leads to not only a cease in hair loss, but an increase in hair follicle production. Please let me know if you have any further questions!

      @@calecimprofessional I, too, was wondering about CALECIM's effect in the process of hair loss due to DHT. Could you elaborate a bit on the studies you've done? Does CALECIM stop - or better, reverse - the thinning of the follicles as well as stimulate dormant hair papillas/hair bulbs to grow follicles again??? Does it do anything to block or reduce levels of DHT? Thank you, in advance, for your consideration.

    Great video Clare. As a scientist/medical professional, we like to see independent studies or clinical efficacy in a large, randomized control trial vs. a placebo and the study needs to be reproducible by other scientists to actually come to the conclusion that yes growth factors or this "serum" with this particular ingredient actually works. So far they are very limited. Oliver is cute and adorable, but his job is to market and sell the product and skin care buzzwords like "potion" and his definition of pluripotent as "very powerful" just made me cringe and are sort of red flags. We certainly didn't use that description for stem cells in my advanced biology class 🙂. Another big claim is that their own product, a cosmetic, is better than minoxidil in covid hair loss which is an ingredient that has a lot of data to support its efficacy in hair loss treatment. Hair loss treatments and anti-aging cosmetics are a billion-dollar business so I would be very skeptical of claims that aren't back by years of independent research. If I had to ask questions though it'll be 1. Is the product approved by EU cosmetic regulators? 2. Why is the "serum" pink? 3. Is Oliver still single? (Asking for a friend).

    • @calecimprofessional
      @calecimprofessional Рік тому +1

      Hi there, thank you very much for your kind words and for watching the video. I hope that you can understand that the buzzword "potion" was purely used in a descriptive context. Our active ingredient, CALECIM ®, goes into each of our products. Setting them apart from competitors in the market. I would be very happy to share all of our clinical abstracts with you if you would like? We have several that have been published in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology as well as other established journals. The wonderful thing about our technology is that it has indeed been researched for almost two decades and the research continues every single day. I understand your shock that our Advanced Hair System can outperform industry standards such as Minoxidil, but from our initial studies, this is what we have observed. - calecimprofessional.com/blogs/blog/covid-19-induced-scalp-alopecia . As this is a relatively new product, we understand people's scepticism. To tackle this, we will continue conducting our studies. Our products have received a notification from the EU cosmetic regulator. As well as this, we have registered with USFDA Voluntary Cosmetic Registration Program. The Serum is pink because of the pH indicator we have put in the product. This is so any contamination of the product is clearly visible. Please let me know if you have any further questions. I am very happy to provide additional information from our incredible panel of Doctors. All the best!

I used them twice a day with a .25 roller prior to application. First the pigment, next the treatment and finally the hydration. There is a very definite lightening of the sun spots on my arms. I’ve been a longtime BR user (which I continue to purchase), but the brand offers so many formulations and it’s really confusing. This sparked my interest in the growth factors and now I’m testing Calecim exclusively, aside from my BR face wash, toner and mask and occasional dollop of cream. • @calecimprofessional
      @calecimprofessional Рік тому +1

      Hi Mari! Thank you very much for your question. Using the Professional Serum after microneedling is a great idea. I am sure you will see dramatic results. The amount of Professional Serum you should use depends on the depth of the treatment. Anything between 0.5mm and 1.00mm can be considered moderate depth and over 1.0mm would be considered deep. For a treatment that is between 0.5mm and 1.0mm in depth, I would recommend using up to 3/4 of a bottle immediately after the treatment ( the sooner the better ). I would then use the final 1/4 over the next 24 to 48 hours, to keep the skin calm and help increase results from the treatment. For a treatment that is over 1.0mm in depth, we suggest applying a whole bottle immediately ( or during ) the treatment. You would then follow this up with an additional bottle spread across the next 72 hours. You can combine this recovery treatment with our Recovery Night Complex which helps soothe the skin and decrease any unwanted inflammation. Once opened, we recommend using the Professional Serum within 2 weeks to avoid any contamination. You do not need to keep them refrigerated, our products are stabled well above room temperature, but the cooling sensation may be more pleasing for you. Please let me know if you have any more questions :)

    I'm curious, would it perhaps make more sense to 'stamp'/micro-needle one one side of your husband's head with out the product, and then do both protocols (staqqmp/product) on the other side for a better comparison on efficacy? Not hugely scientific, but would give an better idea of how the product work to a comparison to just micro-needling, as this is already acknowledged as effective for hair loss issues. On another note, my stepfather is diabetic and also disabled/wheelchair. He has an ongoing chronic wound on his bottom (from a small scrape when transferring from bed to wheelchair, he is such a trouper with his disabilities!) At the end of last year he had a pump attached to the wound to draw out the liquid,. I suggested a Vit D supplement to help with healing and six months later, not only did he no longer needs the pump, but also the wound has healed so much (the best in 7 years) that he has been finally put forward for a skin surgery on the wound. This was never possible before due to lack of healing potential.

    • @calecimprofessional
      @calecimprofessional Рік тому +3

      Hi n0tgunshy, thank you very much for your question! As you quite rightly mentioned, Neogenesis use human stem cell derived proteins from adult skin cells. Immediately, one key advantage is the source and type of stem cell. Our products are derived from the umbilical cord lining, these stem cells are the richest concentration of pluripotent stem cells known to science. Not only is it a far richer concentration, but the nature of our stem cells means that they are far more powerful and release a significantly higher number of different Growth Factors, proteins, cytokines and anti-inflammatory factors. Our products are also arguably more ethically derived, coming from one single source (one single Red Deer umbilical cord) instead of from human tissue banks. We believe our technology is unmatched in the industry because we hold a mother patent to it, meaning no other company could replicate our technology. Please do let me know if you have further questions, I am very happy to answer! All the best

    Very interesting interview and company! I think I am honestly the best candidate for this product: I'm 34 and always had loads of thick shiny hair, and different types of textures on different areas on my head. Due to stress, poor diet and probably some thyroid stuff my hair started to get thinner, and the texture of the hair changed too. It became very thin, coarse, dull, some hair loss too and even on one hair (which I pulled out) I could see the texture change from time to time. I had an itchy scalp as well, flaky for a while which I started treating with alkalizing products a bit, but I think inflammation reduction will be key! I still have a full head of hair, because I just have genetically SO MUCH HAIR but it needs something. And I think this might be it. I've already tried everything else and something seems to be missing. But the base is still good on my head! Sadly Calecim is not shipping to my area (the Netherlands/Europe) so is there any way I could get some? I'd also be very open to be part of a trail to test this for my scalp and hair. • @calecimprofessional
      @calecimprofessional Рік тому

      Hi there Mairead, I hope that you are well. Thank you very much for watching the video and for your comment. You are correct in saying that tretinoin does help increase skin cell turnover. Studies show that it does this by causing micro irritation to the skin which promotes cell regeneration. It also shows signs of increasing collagen production. Our products do this, and more, without causing micro irritation to the skin. The use of synthetic retinols (tretinoin) can lead to a number of skin issues, such as sensitivity to UV, redness and flakey dry skin. Our products have no known side effects and certainly do not overstimulate cell production or the production of collagen. Our Multi-Action Cream 20g is at a significant discount and should last approx. 2 months :) We understand that our products are at a high price point, and we justify this by emphasising the science and technology that goes into every single drop. The sale of a CALECIM product helps fund the research of our parent company CRC's mission to heal previously unhealable wounds. I am very happy to answer any more questions that you may have :)

      Hi there Suzanne, thank you very much for watching the video and for your comment. As Clare mentioned, in some cases, it takes up to 2 months for a difference to be seen, I would highly suggest trying again for a little longer! With regard to your second point, this is not true for our products. There are two ways that the active ingredient reaches your skin cells. Our transepidermal delivery system enables the active ingredient to pass through the skin easily where cell messaging and cell signalling can then cause the cascade of youth messages. This enables these signals to reach deeper into the dermis layer of the skin. With regards to hair, this is where the base of the hair follicle is found.

    Where are the stem cells derived?

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel Рік тому

      They're harvested from the discarded umbilical cord of red deer. Only one cord has been used to date because there are billions of cells in each.

    I would love to offer Microneedling but just can’t with clear conscience get behind using human stem cells on my clients. It creeps me out. Do we really know of its safety? The company that was trying to sell me a Microneedling system said their stem cell serum was derived from a young female athlete, not umbilical. Are they equal?

      Hi. I’d recommend watching this interview. The stem cells used are not human derived and we discuss safety and ethics at length.

    Unless I wanted to grown horns, I’d go for Calecium. Red deer Cytokines can’t do the sort of paracrine signaling I use GFs for. This still makes no sense for me. Stick with the human derived or recombinant version, not animal derived.

    I m totally against harming animals for cosmetics. So let me just get it straight. It was one time taken placenta n reproduced and genetically made? Or is it killing again and again

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel Рік тому

      No, it’s not the placenta and absolutely no animals are harmed in any way. They are harvesting stem cells from the umbilical cord of one red deer. Umbilical cords are usually discarded after birth so they are making use of natural waste.

      @calecimprofessional Рік тому +3

      Hi, we too are against harming animals for cosmetic use. No animal was killed or harmed in the process. As Clare and Julia mentioned, we have used one single Red Deer umbilical cord to produce all of our products. The umbilical cord would typically be discarded by veterinarians after birth, but instead, we used it. We are able to regenerate the stem cells that we harvested from the Red Deer which makes our technology and products incredibly sustainable and ethical. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

      Hello. I would be interested to know more about how you are finding this product works for men with androgenetic alopecia. Sadly I cannot tolerate finasteride due to the side effects, and whilst there are some very exciting new products and drugs on the horizon which tackle the androgen part of the equation, I am always on the look out for anything else which may be helpful. Sadly minoxidil also gave me quite bad facial oedema under the eyes.
      Do you have any more information about how useful calecim can be for androgenetic alopecia. Most of the studies I see relate to autologous PRP not to calecim.

    Calecim Professional Hair products may be okay but their skin care line is terrible! Calecim Professional Restorative Hydration Cream sent me instantly to the dermatologist with a rash which needed oral and topical steroids. i think they are aware it does this because in their return policy it says if it caused a rash, too bad no returns. It is perfumy and who knows what junk is in it. Just a heads up if anyone tries their skin care line.

      I see they do a subscription rate for the hair serum bringing it down to £250 per box but that still works out at £83 per month (if using half a bottle once a week for maintenance). Hopefully the price comes down over time.
