I noticed some people have shimmers that showed up and some people can’t get the shimmers to show up from this palette weird!!! Maybe it’s the way it’s pressed that is disappointing though! You created a beautiful look though!
I know! I swatched them at home and they didn’t show up that well. But, when I swatched it in store, it swatched beautifully!
I’m curious about this as well. I just read a review where she said the mattes were great but the shimmers were too dry and hard to pick up. I have the Bling Boss palette from the Vault and that was definitely the case for me. The shimmers/Metallics have so much oil in them and got hard pan instantly. They are horrible! Even pressing in hard with a finger there’s no payoff. No method works with those shades. I would hope with this new palette they’re not as bad.

I honestly just think you should have bought the P.Louise Base if you really wanted it to POP sis. I bought this palette because even without the eye primer, the colours bang so maybe you could try that out?
ur absolutely beautiful and yes you brought a great look together .. You know by now I'm sure that they did change the formula from her original palette up until some time in 2018 when it was changed to a formula more like the vault palettes. so I guess some colors are hit or miss. for a great yellowish goldy shade I like the zoeva blanc palette ,, it has a gorgeous yellowy gold and her shimmers are incredible. anyways I can't get any more morphes shades since they added carmine but I have the 350 all shimmer and the 350 all matte and a bunch of others that I am happy I have and can use any time I need to that I bought a while back ..I enjoyed your tutorial keep um coming
Yeah I’m sad because the original formula was amazing. I’ll definitely try that palette out from zoeva that sounds like my cup of tea lol. It’s crazy because the formula was better without the carmine, but, oh well. They’ll just loose out on customers. Thank you so much for watching my video 😊💕
I got the palette a little while ago, I tried it once or twice and put it back in the drawer and forgot about it. It’s really disappointing because the colors are so pretty, but the formula change was NOT the right move
I used it the other day for a look and it wasn’t bad, but, still not the quality of the first palette which sucks because the colors are so beautiful!
It's very expensive but I was going to either buy Morphe Jaclyn Hill Volume II or the Morphe Jaclyn hill eye shadow palette or the morphe James Charles palette. I like shimmery, pink, golden, silver shades. I don't like matte or dull brown shades.Which do you recommend I should buy? Thanks

Thank you so much! Someone told me to set my eyes with powder after I prime them, because the shades get patchy when your lids are wet. Hopefully that works better 😊
@@itsskayylaa I always have to set my eye primers or concealers or I can’t get any shades from any brand to blend. Will you let us know if your opinion changes of the pallet?
Please suggest me a good palette where I can find beautiful purplish color and also golden color. I prefer shimmery look.
I feel you gave a more realistic review of this palette like Nikki Joy. I saw Nikki Tutorials view too and trust me gurl she had it the same way but just over boasted the shadows for idk what reasons. You could the metallic gold wasn’t really blinding in hers either.

That's what I do before i do my eyeshadow i always set it with setting powder

Someone was telling me in the comments that it’s better when you set your eyes with a powder after you prime. Apparently if your lids are wet, it won’t blend well. So, maybe give that a try 😊
That was the most honest review I’ve watched till now….and the struggle she had with the blending and all, That’s my everyday struggle! I just thought I wasn’t good with it if I’m not getting it in 1 go🙈.
Though I’ve already ordered this palette it was 40% off 😅 I don’t regret it yet
I know everyone has been on the concealer as eye primer thing but concealer isn't really eye primer. DGMW I used to do it too but I switched back to primer for eyes as it really does grab shadow w/ far more superiority and more importantly consistency than concealer.
Moreover don't powder if you want a vibrant payoff. Use primer directly and if you must powder only above the crease lightly. Alternatively you can use a light colored or white primer/base if you want color vibrancy.
Glitter glue always helps but sometimes just doing the primer right can make all the diff.
The gold shade I applied with my finger and wasss soooo blinding came out sooo pretty. But some colors where sooo patchy and disappeared. Sooo disappointing with this formula I love the first palette she came out with 💔😭😭😭
It has to be inconsistencies then. I love the color scheme and I also love her first palette. But, this wasn’t anything close to it.

i got it as a gift for christmas (i dont watch jaclyin at all so i didnt have anything to go off of) is it bad thay i like my palette a lot 😅 like there are a few things i have slight nitpicky stuff with it but i actually like it
like i feel like the dark blue-y purple could be more pigmented and some shades look too similar but honestly its rlly pretty and is honestly not that bad at all 😭
This was posted a year ago, but did you find the glitter ones to like peel and get stuff but also crumble and feel rubbery in the pallet when trying to use it? I thought I bought a bad one so I got a new one and still had the same issue. Disappointed in that
I don’t have that issue, but, they’re still not as blinding as I’d want them to be. I still use this palette though. But, I do think there was inconsistencies that not a lot of people are talking about.
I have a question 😬I used tipsy girl on my first look and when i removed my makeup it kind of stained my eye... did that happen to you!??
Yes any bright pink or blue that I use from any palette stains my eye
Oh goodness I thought I was the only one so i applied that hot pink to my water line and its the next day and I still have a tiny bit. Im kind of freaking out? Did you experience anything similar or suggest anything
No it goes away after a day or two. If I have to be somewhere the next day, I just conceal my lids or wherever the pink stained.
But I wouldn’t put concealer in your waterline maybe just put a nude eyeliner? Just depends on if you have to be somewhere the next day.
My palette gave me so much shimmer with the Taliya super weird that you didn’t 😩
What is the banging sound? Is it your microphone?
Yes sometimes I get too excited and I hit it lol I’m not sure if it was this day though. One day I was filming my boyfriend was working on something outside it could’ve been that.
I have noticed with this palette if your base or primer is not 100% dry and set it will be patchy every time

@@itsskayylaa if i do that i have zero problems and the palette works gorgeously... also if you do a cut crease make sure to set tht consealer too otherwise whn u try to blend ur outer corner u can get a odd discoloured spot between the consealer/primer and the shadow
Also that gold shade u used and thr are some others tht dont work like ud think they would... i like to wet my brush with setting spay or use glitter glue before i use the shimmers/mattalics personally...also i heard u mention purple eye shadows... try the jeffree star blood lust palette its soooooo good and blood sugar

You can try it out and send it back if you don’t like it. Some people are saying that theirs came out fine. There might be inconsistencies in the palettes.

I don't really find this palette appealing but, I will buy it second hand just for that yellow and Caramel brown to take it out and put it in my M35 cause I feel like they will fit so perfect in that palette 😅

Yes the color story is so beautiful! I’ve heard some people say that theirs was good and others saying it was because my lid was wet and I didn’t set it with a powder so it didn’t stick. But, I have yet to test that theory.

Hey I just got mine I got it for $20 but with shipping it came out $30 and taxes. But iam disappointed because I followed a tutorial with yellow and added the orange one and comes out sooo patchy and not only that the color disappears. I tried the burgundy red color and disappeared as well. Iam sooo bummed. I might just resell it I think. 😭😭 I had high hopes for this
muffin asmr Oh no!! Try it a few more times and see if you can get the other colors to work. I have the Bling Boss palette from Jaclyn and it is horrible quality. I don’t trust anything she puts out anymore.
Rachel_Rebel_Makeup I will tomorrow and give it another try. Maybe I didn’t set my eye primer with translucent. But I had bought the vault collection and they where sooo patchy iam reselling them because I only used the green color that everyone was talking about and the red/burgundy shades and I just love the first palette with that formula way better. But I will it’s gorgeous colors but I’ll give it another try.

There could be a Number of factors going on here on why she doesn’t like the pallet
1. She could’ve gotten a bad batch of pallet
2. Different skin types react to different formulas differently and can create patching and or abnormalities
3. It could be your make up brush set, if you don’t get make up brushes that work well with the formula it’s not going to apply well
Just do your research before buying a pallet seeing if you have got enough supplies I have the pallet and it is a wonder for me I absolutely love it

I love Jaclyn, like I didn’t realize how much I love her until I noticed how much stuff I buy that she recommends. Like if she says I need it girl I need it. But, people seem to forget that just because a product works for you doesn’t mean it’s going to work for me. I don’t have the palette you use. Mine can be defected who knows. It’s been a year and I still have problems with blending and patchiness. Where as I don’t have that issue with any other Morphe palette, including her first one. I think what happened was I got a defected one, because I’ve tried it every way people have recommended and I still have issues. I want to repurchase it and see if there’s a difference because this color story is amazing and Jaclyn is in my top 5 favorite UA-camrs. At the same time, I’m not going to lie to you guys on my channel and say that it worked well for me when it didn’t, because, then people will buy the product based on my review and come back and say it didn’t work for them. I would feel pretty shitty if someone spent their hard earned money on something I said was good when I was lying. My reviews are for consideration when buying the product, not a decision for you.
