END OF DAY WEAR TEST THOUGHTS: Please save your $100 and skip the CT moisturizer… my skin looked fine (still a bit flakey) but definitely not worth the steep price-tag. The Fenty shadows creased and faded pretty badly after only a few hours! Everything else seemed to perform & hold-up as expected. I’ll continue testing and update you soon!

Holy moly I thought the $100 was referring to the HG price of the palettes bc they are almost that price. Had no idea that the moisturizer was that expensive wow. 😮

I wish hourglass made these palettes magnetic and refillable! They are so beautiful, it’s a shame to toss them after your done with them!

I have an hourglass palette from 2020, I use it regularly and it seems like it will last forever, only one shade doesn't suit me, it really has value for me especially since I picked it up in a sale for about $60, the quality is amazing, I also love that I can travel with it and have all my cheek products in one.
I purchased the Hourglass Elephant palette last year and I use it all the time, especially when I’m traveling. I love each shade for my skin tone. I haven’t hit pan on any of the shades yet and I do use it regularly.

I have the Hourglass Ghost palette from 2019 and use all shades often since then. It still performs well and I have not hit pan. Hourglass is expensive but I really enjoy the powders on my more mature skin as it really gives a blur and they last ages. For me it is worth it.

Oh… That is priceless regarding the Hourglass palettes. Clearly Hourglass doesn’t follow your channel as closely as me. I actually adore their powder products. However, I am twenty years your senior, Kelly. Hourglass products seem to favor my mature skin.

Your full face is gorgeous. I love the HG palette, but I already splurged on the Look Fantastic advent calendar, which after discount wasn’t that much more expensive than one HG palette. Also, after doing the math, though I appreciate the cause, HG isn’t actually donating, they upped the price enough that the customer is making the donation for them, and HG still gets to pocket one more dollar per palette than last year.
It is actually a Leopard. I bought the Leopard one. I actually like it. My mom stills gives me cold hard cash for my birthday. I spent it on this particular Holiday palette without regret. I am using the whole thing.
The Hourglass Elephant pallet took me a while get used to but once I challenged myself to use all six options and got comfortable with how and where to use them, I love it and am SO glad I got the full pallet rather than individual shades. I am very fair and loved the Elephant pallet last year (cheetah his the equivalent). I’ve got my eye on Jellyfish this year. Next year, I’ll look at the darkest and call it done from there on out.
I’ve always said…..if I’m spending $100+ on skincare it needs to have some power hitter active ingredients more typically found in serums. I’m not spending it on a glorified moisturizer lol but that’s just me and my preference 😊
Now for HourGlass…..I received my Jellyfish palette yesterday and gotta say…..I was like a kid at Christmas heeheehee. It’s my first time ever buying one of these holiday palettes and I’m SO excited to use it today! It’s gorgeous! I love HG powders in general and finish every makeup look with a dusting of dim light.

I purchased the HG owl packaging with the lightest color story and adore it! I love this years fairest option better than last years since this year, they included a bronzer and it’s more complete to me now 😊
Agree with you on liking matte but that face pallet looks amazing on you. The whole look is beautiful. And I agree with you..cats should be able to go in closets etc whenever they would like 😻
I bought the Elephant palette last year for my mother-in-law for Christmas because she was obsessed with elephants. I was so excited to give it to her. Sadly she passed away and she never got to use it. 😔 💔

That is good advice! I purchased a 4-pan holiday palette a few years ago, and the only powder I used consistently was the bronzer. I used that up and now have little use for the palette. BTW, I have a cat named Tilly, too! he is a boy with a girl's name.
Pampered Wolf did a CT Water Cream dupe video. The dupe is Beauty of Joseon Dynasty cream-- which was less than $18 for 50g. on Yes Style. Ohhh, I do love the look of that Cheetah palette.

for concealers that do tons of creasing, maybe try blending it out in a precise manner so that it doesn’t get into any lines to begin with. i do this with products that crease and settle to avoid it ✨

Speaking about cat moms. I got a halter for my cat and took him out in the back yard for a walk once. Now every single day he sits at the door and meows for his walk as soon as I get my cup of coffee. Yeah, I give in 9 out of 10 times lol. He has me trained.
Hate the price, LOVE that you can have the packaging you want. I think that’s SO smart!! Every single year I’ve wanted one of the holiday hourglass palettes, every year I’ve almost done it & then didn’t & THEN regretted it & said next year, I’m gonna do it!! Rinse, repeat… 😞 🔁
Even with regular use they last forever. So you’ll get your moneys worth out of it. As long as you like all the colors. I have some of there products in singles from before they started doing these pallets and I still use them.
I have one hourglass palette and it’s probably getting old 😅 but I haven’t hit pan in any shades and it’s my only face palette and I take it every time I travel. I use all the shades and feel like I dip my brush in generously so I definitely see the value but I think the price has increased over the years because it seems so expensive! I also think I got mine on sale or with a gift card

I have collected quite a few hourglass palettes over the hears and not all of them have suited me so a lot have been decluttered. I didn't keep any of last year's palettes but the jellyfish from thisbyear has my eye.
My favourite Hourglass palettes have been the Ghost Quad and Ghost 6 pan, followed by the Volume 3 in the pink chrome packaging.

def personal preference but I actually really like the slightly mustard-ish color on you! It echoes your shirt too, like a camel color. But! I couldn't help but remember your epic "ketchup and mustard" inspired look from ages ago. It was so cool! haha 💛❤✨
I think it's a leopard, not a cheetah. Cheetahs have a vertical line down the cheeks that make it look like they were crying with mascara on. Leopards have larger spots that are sort of dual colored, while cheetah spots are a single color and smaller (more like polka dots.)

I got two of the Fenty Shadowstix. They only lasted on me for maybe ten minutes. I tried them several days, and they just don't work for me. I thought they were hard to blend and work with also. I'm actually planning to return them. I don't like returning items, but they're expensive, and they just aren't good. I was very disappointed - I was excited about getting them.

I bought both pallets in 2021. Ended up giving one away as a gift. The setting powder n bronzer is almost gone in the one I did keep. I was late last year n missed out. This year I got all 3 😊. Think I am good for at least 5 years 😂

For me, the $90 for the palette might be worth it if it was fully customizable and I could choose all the individual shades, along with the packaging. The cheetah one is SO pretty, but I only use 2 or 3 shades in the Hourglass palette I already have, so I know it's just such a waste for me. 😕

I have never bought an hourglass palette exactly because I didn’t think I would use all the shades. But, I do like this year’s jelly fish palette but I’m more a leopard girl and like that I can change it up. Might spend the money to treat myself this year.

Thanks for mentioning that the pallets I mean the individual products are the size of a mini. The only problem is they don't sell the minis in every color just the standard variety powders and even then not every single one in the range. So actually you can't get these as individuals, especially the new ones.

So underwhelmed by the Cheetah hourglass palette ( I’m olive undertone). It was my first one, I think it’s going back. I get way better pay off from my combo of Givancy powder, Gucci bronzer and ABH blush.

Hourglass palettes would be a much better “value” if you could pick your own (refillable!) tin and shades to build a custom palette with items you’re sure will work for you. Otherwise you’re just buying a partially usable and non-refillable tin. That’s what stops me every time.
The moisturizer is refillable I believe so I think that’s why the packaging is like that

The Colourpop Pretty Fresh Face Powder I wear either as a powder foundation or after powder and go in with the Elf Camo Powder Foundation and it layers beautifully on top of that product.
I don’t like it when I’m charged more for a product so that a big company can donate my money and get credit for it. I already donate to multiple charities thanks. Just sell me your product and quit trying to use me to look like a good guy.

Your calculation is so so wrong! There is no value in these products. You need to compare price per gram, or whatever unit you US people use to measure weight, which, btw, is an obligatory information brand need to provide to customers in Europe, and then you will easily notice that these palettes are a ripoff when it comes to price. No value. Still pretty and there is nothing wrong with buying something expensive. But please dont tell people that this is a good deal, hourglass.
