As a long time battle rap fan, its good to hear battles that aren't flooded with negativity. For any fan of Hip Hop this format is just as impressive, we're able to also have a laugh at no ones expense.
You can only hear so many mother jokes.

I hope people recognize what happened here and support it. This was the same energy and vibe of all my favorite battles, same tough guy stance, delivery, traditional battle rap feel. But it was all love, “exposing” the great in their friends instead of dirt (which we all have and need comm7nity to help). Mentioning causes and accomplishments in the same way they would mention failures and embarrassments. Love this, love everything about it, thanks Adam. Secondly, I love the BoyDad pod.

That just goes to show it doesn’t matter how long Rone’s breaks are between battles - he must have an insane amount of talent to go along with his preparation. 2 and a half years since the Charron battle (which was 2.5 years since his last one until then) and it feels like he never stopped. Ridiculous performance, hope he battles again soon
I actually think he's only gotten better over time i think the last few years living life working for Barstool has upped his game. I would love to see this be the beginning of Rone getting back into rap

That third bar from Rone is a glimpse of what this league can possibly do. The compliment rap battle league can blend the norms of what we know about the rap culture. Theres alot of potential here.

i just saw that Rone gave to Pat's memorial. That's why I like battles, where people say terrible things to each other, but confrontations are limited to displays of wit, and ultimately they display honor, friendship and respect. Condolences to his friends an family. RIP Pat King forever
