ben eating in Vegas chna for over 25 years. i have seen it get bigger and longer every year. vietnamese learned a lots from the french colonism like great bread and great coffee. . lots of new places seem to be popping up in Vegas everyday
Great video and recommendations! I can't wait to try out some of these restaurants. BBQ Chicken supposedly uses olive oil to cook the chicken so it's "healthier" and it's cook to order. That is why it might be more pricey.
I have been binge watching your videos for our upcoming trip in April. Your videos are very informative and you tell us what's good and what's not good at the restaurants and I like that. Can you give me some names of the best places for AYCE sushi? Thank you
AYCE near Chinatown... Sushi Neko, Yama Sushi, Umiya Sushi, and "It's Sushi." These are closer to the strip... personally I like 2 places in Henderson... Top Sushi and Blue Fin. If you want high-end there are some nice ones such as Sushi Samba, Yui Edomae, Kabuto, and Nobu.
Haven’t been to Vegas in a couple of years. This new mall looks to be across the street from the original Chinatown mall with Ranch 99 and Sam Woo. Definitely have to try this place out the next time I’m in Vegas.
Yes it is across from the original Chinatown mall.. but slightly east of it (closer to the I-15). You can check it out by searching for Shanghai Plaza on Yelp.com
While I'll still probably try Orchid, I do find it funny that a dish that's at most $3 in Vietnam is $17 in Vegas. Goes to show how few Vietnamese restaurants we have in town.
Yeah, I was in Thailand last year and I was blown away by the prices. I don't think it can get down to $3 even with a lot of restaurants here... Little Saigon in Orange County, CA for example. I wish though 😆
I think steak served on a hot skillet originated in Taiwan to cut down on cooking time as the non-steak ingredients basically cooked itself on the skillet
Dang the sour soup reminds me of home. My mom used to cook it almost three times a week. I need to pay a visit home soon. The sour soup made in the US is not very good.
@@romeoalphafoxtrot9517 ... Oh, SoCal? I Agree! ... Of course! I used to drive to Cali for the best!... quality and price. Vegas can't compare to SoCal.
@@romeoalphafoxtrot9517 not sure about that anymore. Prices in southern California are almost the same or more these days because of the pandemics. Restaurants are doubling their price for most dishes to make for the lost of customer.
Wow, this totally opened my eyes to what's available in the way of modern Asian food in Las Vegas. Incredible! Thank you!
You're welcome! Enjoy!
Finally a Vietnamese restaurant serve authentic food, thank you
There is more authentic than that. Check out YEN Viet Kitchen from my playlist ua-cam.com/video/2RnHLK3Z4-U/v-deo.html
I loved Shanghai Taste!
👍
i love this channel it shows of the strip gems and it is a lot of them
Thanks! 👍
The food sizzling in the pan at the beginning locked awesome.
It's good... just a bit small for the price
Good Morning! I’m so hungry and I loved your sizzling steak and egg skillet! Thanks for all you share! Keep it going❤️❤️❤️
Good morning! Thanks!
That looked so good 😋
The skillet looked great!
Great video, thanks for sharing..
I love Shanghai Plaza especially 85C Bakery Cafe
Have been around the world, and living in Dubai for quite a long time, I suddenly realize that VietnameseFood is the best 🤣
It's really one of my most favorite!

Thanks for the info!
Fun review

👍 You're welcome!
Been to Vegas so many times and eat alot down on Spring Mountain rd. But never been to this strip mall. Will definitely check it out. Great reviews. 👍
Nice!
I was there last summer- the place is fire.
Hey thanks 🙏
설빙!! i love it
😋😋😋👏👏👏
👍
I just tried that sizzling steak and egg with fries skillet last night. It was very good but their Pho is the star, by far.
Yes, I had it many times. I also like their Beef Stew
@@lasvegaseats702 I need to thank you for showing me this restaurant! it was this video! thank you!
nice video.. i could probably eat that steak and eggs daily too 😄

@@lasvegaseats702 thank you so much. Now I have a few places to try ;)
You're welcome
Hi i love your channel
Thank you... I hope I can keep it going, but it's getting more & more difficult because of time. But thanks again!
I didn't have dinner yet. So looking it make my stomach feel crushed..
😆
I have to try Korean fried chicken. :))

Why is, just a few, complaining about the price. The dumplings are hand made. It’s time consuming. I couldn’t do that job.
I think steak served on a hot skillet originated in Taiwan to cut down on cooking time as the non-steak ingredients basically cooked itself on the skillet
Lies, hot skillet started in New Zealand 2000 years ago.
New Zealand had it first around 2000 years ago.
hello SHANGHAI
OMG, it's so DELICIOUS
Dang the sour soup reminds me of home. My mom used to cook it almost three times a week. I need to pay a visit home soon. The sour soup made in the US is not very good.
Prices looks so expensive 😫
Yeah, prices are up everywhere
caramel catfish and the soup should be served with steamed rice
Yes... they gave me a huge bowl of steamed rice
Orchid had best Vietnamese food outside of California 😀
Cali is BEST. But here are some of the best in Vegas:
Viet Noodle Bar; Pho Kim Long;
Pho So 1; Pho Saigon 8;;
District 1 Kitchen & Bar
Looks good, but the prices are way too high! Forget that place!
🤣🤣🤣
You should see my videos on "Downtown Summerlin," "Stratosphere," and "The Venetian," ... it is Las Vegas
@@lasvegaseats702
I'm serious Bro.
Over in So Cal you can get the same thing for 1/2 the price. That's ridiculous.

Great video. But prices indicated were way too high for me. $25 for fried chicken is way overpriced!!
Bad news, Orchid is closed 😞
Yup. We had a crazy fun going away party.
Vegas China Town
Soup dumplings are expensive.
Yeah they are.
Have to take into account that they are in Las Vegas. All the food/ingredients have to be trucked in.
Vegas used to be inexpensive. Nowadays, it is more expensive than restaurants in LA.
