"Old injury" looks like a good major to take. You can just train up movement for a few fights and overwrite the debuff. "Unlovable" makes things difficult to advance but at least wont effect your combat ability. "Machismo" and "one arm" seem too dangerous from the permanently unarmored areas they create. The starter shield saved your run many times over today, absorbing random death blows. You almost got the Baegar fight this time, maybe just too low armor again? I think most of your gear was 50-60% protection when you went in. If you got some of the 75-85% gear, hits would deal literally half the damage they did and you could potentially live twice as long. It's a long fight prying all that godly armor off those three tin men and if you could have lived a little longer, I think you may have got it. Could also see your skill is coming back since last video too. Looking forward to the next attempt!
Such a fun game, but there are a few aspects that really take it down a notch. Armor is so OP, especially for opponents. I mean, you spend 3 minutes just bashing hit after hit on an opponents quasi-invincible armor, and then YOUR sword breaks. Is that really fun? I wish the developer prioritized more of the skill-based dynamics of the game, such as the parrying and angled attacking, instead of who can hit and run on armor for 5 minutes to win. Also, you've mentioned this, and I totally agree. The positive traits are really inconsequential. For example, a positive trait that gives 10% damage increase for claws? You're using a claw that does 20 damage, so that makes it effectively 22 damage. You can easily find a sword that does 28+. It would be a lot more exciting if it gave like a 50% damage increase to claws, or the like.
downloaded for the second time ! Reformist there was a great tutorial in this game on blocking, I know time is money,,, and you're commentary is star factor than the gameplay but would love to see you do it, hope not too cheeky enjoying the bloodbowl too
I never thought you stood a chance! Definitely dead at week 16 unless you have more legendary gear like the people you are fighting. Maybe one day you'll get there, though you play games to have fun, not be a sweat :)
@@ReformistTM Yeah, one of your earlier videos with the trait, you got hit by a swing that seemed like it missed completely. Rewatched it a couple times when it happened. Which is too bad, because it would have at least some benefit if it didn't have a full hitbox, for dodging.
The Baegar fight is so difficult, the second fighter comes in at 30 seconds and Baegar enters after a minute. Really don't see how you can kill the two adds quick enough to then defeat Baegar without godly gear.

The one-armed seems to also have a full hitbox for that nonexistent arm. So *extremely* easy to take massive damage on that side.
I was hoping that wasn't the case haha. Ouch!

Don't be so harsh on yourself.
