Ami, I totally understand I was the same way with my Jayden's hair until I got tired of doing his hair, my hair, and my daughter's hair. You can get it trimmed to even it out and trust me his hair will grow back faster!

Cutting your hair does not make it grow faster.
If it is going to grow. It will grow any way.
With out chemical and and without grease and other products. If God Bless you with hair and remove the labour then He will Bless it to grow without all that wasting money and time. I think he needs MORE THAN a LITTLE TRIM , A Hebrewain as you say ,it will grow again as it I'd only BABY HAIR so " hopefully " make it stronger , not sure about AFRO HAIR though a I was once told it BREAKS EASILY

Love, love, Jersey, The Main Man! He's growing so nicely & intelligent. My suggestion re: his hair, is to have the ends clip & still be able to wear a pony tail, & the sides & back trimmed down...please, a clip & cut are two different thing.
I love his pony tail hair style it's different. Now he's growing, it's a good thing to trim his hair to get rid of baby hair & dead ends! Something for Ami & Justin to think about. Don't forget to video his first barba visit. Love ur family & keep up the good work ur both doing!

Thanks for inviting us to weigh in on Jersey’s hair. There are so many styles that I’m certain you and Justin can find one. Talk to a couple of barbers or stylist. He really needs a little trim to even put all of his hair. It will grow back and faster.

My son's hair grew diff lengths like that too, with curls a plenty. I trimmed the top to even out the length, and saved it as his first 'hair cut'. I still have it in a small wooden decorative box today. Maybe baby cornrows for the Winter (easy hat slip on/off is the benefit too?)

I didn't cut my boys hair until he was three. Before that, I did one braid, ponytail or boy bun. Most of the time it was baby bouncy curls, Afro.

When my grandson was a toddler his hair grew the same way and it took a while before his mommy was ready to cut it also. She would put product and then she would brush it back in waves.

I think a cut or trim when hair is uneven. It will help it grow healthy. Nice lil tapered cut would look so handsome on him. Its easy n faster to get him ready.
