I do like the idea that Aizen's Bankai reflects his loneliness. Which is why I think it might have a ability that requires Aizen to rely on a comrade, someone he views as an equal. That would explain why he has never used it, and could be part of the reason he wanted to make Ichigo into a worthy opponent. After all, Ichigo was someone who just like Aizen, was born with the potential to obtain Godhood. So, Aizen saw Ichigo as his chance to both gain someone that could make him stronger, as well as stand alongside him as an equal.
I'm almost 100% sure that Aizen's bankai just doesn't have a common battle application. Kyoka Suigetsu is named after a proverb about things that you can see but cannot reach ("flower seen in the mirror, moon on the water's surface"). His shikai uses this concept to create illusions that other people live by which lead them to ruin. This could just be a corruption of the bankai . . . Aizen's loneliness is not caused by him being under a false belief, it is caused through his understanding of things that others cannot fathom. I think his bankai may dispel lies/illusions or reveal hidden truths, and that is how he found out about the true history of the Soul Society and many other things that caused him anxiety and curiosity. Maybe his sword is representative of his desire to be understood by others. Think about it. Aizen looks down on people for how little they understand, but his shikai could easily communicate anything he wants. He can make people believe what he wants. He is just so disillusioned with the state of the world and his place in it that he chooses to use it to deceive.
I love theories about Aizen’s Bankai. Kyoka Suigetsu in shikai state makes people believe a false reality as we all know. One could speculate that KS in Bankai would only impact Aizen-making him believe anything he wants and therefore it is true. A “God” complex on the battlefield could have a devastating outcome.
The perfect bankai for him would be a skill possessed by Diablo from Slime tensura....The inversion of truth and fallacy. If you think he doesn't have a bankai then, idk how to help you lol. This is the same guy who even at the very last fight still hasn't used his KS on Ichigo already having planned ahead to have him help him fight the eventual return of Yhwach. The fact Yhwach was still seeing Aizen as Ichigo as he has his own arm through his fucking gut lol. That should tell you he had overcome his limitation of having KS paused when someone touches his sword (now his body since he fused with it).
I'm a strong believer of the theory that Aizen is just too self-centered and his sword doesn't allow him to achieve Bankai. That is a stark contrast to Ichigo. When Ichigo is brave he is strong, when Ichigo is depressed he is weak. Aizen always knew that he was strong. He always put his entire mind to the matter but never evolved beyond his own persona. Aizen wasn't afraid like Ichigo that he would fall victim to hollowfication. It adds a extra layer to him as Ichigo suspected by crossing their blades that he felt lonely. It seems to suggest that not even his own Zanpakuto could become Aizen's friend/partner/soulmate. This could be another reason why Aizen relied on the Hogyoku. A tool that only works if the users mind is strong enough to fulfill his/her wishes. Like it surpressed Rukia's Soul reaper powers or awakened Orihime's and Chad's fullbring.
Cool, but I think this would affect the true form of the bankai(preventing him from truly harnessing its true form). I don’t think it would outright prevent bankai release. He would still have something beyond the shikai.
@@aizensworld9309 well, yeah he has something beyond his Shikai. He's merged with his Zanpakuto. The ultimate symbiosis like Dangai Ichigo. He transcended all known Shinigami and hollows

I'm 100% sure he showed off a fake 'bankai' through absolute hypnosis at some point, since he'd have had to demonstrate it. He probably still has it, but the databook is more ambiguous than it lets on.
Wasn't it implied the light novel Spirits are forever with you that Aizen had a bankai, but you had to be under Kyoka Suigetsu for it to work? "Urozakuro laughs ( Azashiro Kenpachi's bankai FYI). Yes, every strong bankai comes at a price. Like Aizen not being able to use it if someone hasn't seen his shikai. Like Kurosaki Ichigo losing his Shinigami powers in exchange for his trump card. ( Mugetsu) Her price is pretty cheap in comparison, you know?"
Most shikai have to have the effect before using bankai. But aizen indeed does, i believe in the english translation of the cfyow novels (if i remember) he states that his bankai makes him weaker.
With the reveal of Senjumaru's bankai at the end of cour 2, I think the chance of finally seeing Aizen's bankai is quite high for the final battle. Though honestly, I'm more interested in seeing what Kyoka Suigetsu's zanpakuto spirit is like.
I would like to see how Aizen with Transcendent Bankai with the Hogyoku would stack up against some people like Odin from Fortissimo, Magic gods of Toaru, or Adam from Record of Ragnarok. The last one is the most interesting because Adam possesses Power Mimicry.
@@aizensworld9309 Odin in Fortissimo has some pretty good reality haxs that can rival or even surpass that of Yhwach's Almighty especially when Odin is at full power. The Magic gods in Toaru have tons upon tons of reality warping abilities and techniques. Think of something potent like Kumagawa's All Fiction for example. Magic Gods are pretty similar to that if not at a higher degree. As for Adam the Record of Ragnarok series has such ridiculously powerful characters which Adam will eventually adapt to reach their tier and abilities he can pretty much be compared to Saint Seiya and God of Highschool characters. So Adam is a powerhouse who can be a good match for Hogyoku Aizen.
He probably has a bankai, but it's probably situational, which is why you never see him use. Kinda similar to Urahara, who never used his until the end.
How would Aizen's Transcendent Kyoka Suigetsu would compete with individuals who possess these powers? Cosmic awareness, perspective manipulation, and reality perception? I think these three powers would be natural hard counter measures to Kyoka Suigetsu's type of sensory manipulation. It wouldn't be easy with Aizen's current level of power his Kyoka Suigetsu can affect but it can still be possible to resist or be possibly immune if you are powerful enough with these three counters.
They would help but we’ve already seen it work on god tier perception. And cosmic awareness (which Aizen also had) wouldn’t grant immunity to temporal perception manipulation (unless you have a form of cosmic awareness like some Marvel/DC character lol). It depends on the degree of these powers and how they relate to the strength of something like the Almighty (which he has hypnotized).

He certainly has, knowing him most likely under absolute secrecy. Can imagine what it must be since his typical run of the mill power are already very dangerous. Interesting theories but unless the author says otherwise at some point, then: 1. Hogyoku hunt was to transcend Shinigami and hollows, not achieve bankai(the limit of Shinigami). 2. The (author’s) databook says all of them have one except for Zaraki. Unless Kubo changes that then he definitely has one.
As far as the author’s words go… the databook straight up tells us that he does!
