I’m watching on my lunch break and everything from 9:45 to 10:17 had me crying in my car from laughing so hard. DAMN, this game is punishing. The algorithm talk is really insightful, honestly. As for what I’ve been watching, I saw the two most recent Planet of the Apes movies after Mountain Man brought them up on Tales From Apt 9. They’re ridiculous, but fun. I also finally watched Haunting of Hill House and Haunting of Bly Manor after hearing good things for the last few years. High marks across the board, especially Hill House. I love the SNES series idea for a show. Glad to contribute what I can if you need SNES childhood memories. Secretly I was hoping for a Hot Hammer Smash season 2, but I’ll still watch the SNES show haha.
I think the instruction booklet told you everything about the bosses, because I knew who they were but by title only. They're just "Wind God, Earth God, Water God, Fire God" and only Wind God returned as Fujin. The other temple gods never get a name. I've always liked Water God the best. I just call him Suijin because I feel like that HAS to be his name, but they'll never tell us! The game is badly designed for sure, but I honestly think the slide going under the door is brilliant. I figured everything out as a kid somehow, and this is one of the few ideas I really liked. I'm VERY interested in whatever your new scripted idea is gonna be. I mean. I watch everything, but there's no doubt Retrospectives are the strength here. Let's Play stuff is fun, but I only really watch that because I like your comedy and personality. It's never about the game really. Seeing the mixup sounds great.
Once you meet the dead-end because of the difficulty, this is the procedure: -1 Set difficulty to normal -2 Start a new game and beat level 1 with scorpion KILLED > at start of level 2 press start > select and go to the main menu -3 Input the GTTBHR password for 999 lives -4 Input the RGTKCS password to load the level that would load if you played on normal Dont get discouraged because of the difficulty change, its only effect is on how often the enemies attack, its already so difficult its almost the same You do step 2 so Scorpion stays dead in your playthrough after using the password to load the next level, if you dont do that, after loading the password the game will load as if you didnt kill Scorpion

As someone with a UA-cam channel myself (This isn't my channel account) I 100% understand what you're saying. I do MMA analysis and breakdown videos primarily, but when there isn't a fight card on a particular weekend, I post some other MMA related content and even that is enough to confuse UA-cam sometimes. That advice you were given is mostly correct from my understanding as well.

Great playthrough so far, Ian. You are a more patient player than I. As far as watching stuff, I've really been bouncing between Gargoyles and Trigun Stampede (which is an amazing show so far). Outside of watching stuff, I've actually been writing a Western comedy novel. So far, I'm estimating that the rough draft is around 50% complete. Which, for me, is a massive accomplishment. With as entertaining a storyteller as you are, it would be cool to see you write a comic or book.
I'm currently playing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. It starts out slow until you can get something to ride/fly on. Pandora is a gorgeous place to explore.

Also Ian just saw the Announce Trailer for WWE2K24, and it confirmed several things those being Cody Rhodes is the cover star for the base game, a multi-star cover for the Deluxe Edition, and a Wrestlemania themed cover for the "Mania Edition" with the other reveals being the return of the Casket Match, and the Special Guest Referee Match, a new version of MyRise Mode will be in the game, and that we're getting the biggest Showcase Mode ever as this year's Showcase Mode is the "40 Years of Wrestlemania Showcase"

Batman Forever for Genesis/SNES did this first, a platformer with fighting game controls. lol so bad. Also a lot of people love watching rage gaming or fails. The angrier the better. lol I saw Aquaman 2 the other day. It was… ok. The humor was hit or miss, the action was fun, the story was easy to follow, I’d give it 6/10 average

First off, how's Sub-Zero been after all of those nasty falls? Anyway, been playing AEW Fight Forever on the PS4 oddly enough (I'm hoping to get a gaming laptop this year because I felt like it was time to change things up) it took a while to get the hang of the old controls of the old No Mercy/Revenge games with this one, it's okay but it can use some more meat onto it like adding a steel cage match.
I really wish someone would recreate this with a rom hack. I just checked and there is a better control patch but like if someone made a better map and everything. That would be so sick do it whoever and wherever you are!!!
I think the advice you got is great since you monetize your channel. If not, uploading the content as you do would work great. But of course this channel is your creation, so run it how you like. I have an channel that isn't monetized, and I choose a set amount of videos from each game that I upload. Lots of subs have watched my Hot Wheels Unleashed gameplays, and it's insane. But even then, looking at most of my content I know monetization would be pointless for me. But I'm also happy to not have to worry too much about how the algorithm affects my channel. In other news my new gaming adiction is Cult of the Lamb on Switch. It's a great game.

Honestly, I feel like they had the right idea, just atrocious execution. The bad has a charm to it, sure, but I think there could be an awesome game made centered around a certain character in their own story. I think if at all, it would probably be Scorpion, being Ed Boon's favorite character and all. Maybe it could segue into the canceled Fire & Ice and/or Shaolin Monks remaster

Second in regards to people enjoying when you screw up at least for me who is not the best gamer since if you wanted you could edit out all the mistakes it reminds me that hey this guys human like me and makes mistakes. so thats why I enjoy watching you play games (also this game is fing terrible screw ups a plenty are going to happen lol. Lastly Im going to just tell you the content I enjoy that you do. I came for mortal combat I stayed because like you im a wrestling fan, Im not into horror or being scared but thats a me thing. The few horror things youve made that ive watched I enjoyed but its niche for me. If you need to make a channel speccficly for wrestling, gaming or horror specifically by all means do so I will follow to the ones I enjoy. Keep up the good work man your great.
